Stunning place! Extremely authentic Mexican food and drinks with some fun twists. For example, I got the cafe de olla latte, which was extremely delicious. Note that tamales only available on weekends, so I got a veggie burrito that was smaller and good.

I stumbled upon this cafe while searching for a caffeine fix between classes, and have not stopped going back. No exaggeration, I dreamed of the picante mocha once, going too long between fixes! More specifically, an iced oat milk picante mocha latte with an extra shot, slightly less sweet literal perfection. This, paired with a conchas {preferably pink}, sitting in the sun facing the window on the first floor viewing santa fe is a recipe for a perfect.. well, any day. The food + coffee + atmosphere and friendly staff make it a no-brainer for all occasions. In fact, I am stopping by tomorrow, highly highly highly recommend!

I love this general area on Santa Fe, and this is my favorite first stop when I take out of town friends. Crawling up and down the various antique stores and art exhibitions with a padded stomach and fun drink is never a bad time. The line can get long, especially during first Fridays. but it’s always worth the wait.

The 910Arts complex has been home to a number of coffee shops. This is the current incarnation. The owners are Hispanic and the shop has a neat south-of-the-border vibe with aguas frescas, horchata, cafecito and other interesting items, plus the usual coffeehouse suspects.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shop is small, but cute, with an extensive drinks menu, a selection of baked goods, and some gift items. Drinks are presented in beautiful ceramic mugs, really elevating the experience.

There is plenty of seating in the large 910Arts courtyard. There is also an adjacent art gallery space with more seating and eclectic art selections.

I enjoyed a delicious and well-made hot chocolate, sitting at a table in the courtyard with my friend on a sunny winter afternoon.

I didn’t have the best experience the first time I came here. The owner who took our order wasn’t very friendly, but she said there were a few orders an ahead of us and it might be a while, so I chalked it up to some amount of stress. It took about half an hour to get two drinks. I thought they were good and I liked the atmosphere so I thought I’d give it another chance.

The second time I came, the owner once again treated me like she couldn’t stand having to interact with me. She asked whether I wanted a medium or large drink, and I went with the medium, assuming that’s what corresponds to the pricing on the chalk board. There was an upcharge for the medium, so she just wanted to upsell, without even giving me small as an option. This time there were no orders ahead of mine, and my latte took about 10 minutes to make. I’m sorry to say, this is not the kind of service that gets you return customers, and I won’t be coming back for a third visit.

Negative experience – they forgot about our order and even as they tried to make it up to us for our extremely long wait they continued to get things wrong. For example they gave us the wrong scone flavor, we originally ordered to eat in but they served our food to go so we asked for 2 plates and they gave us one. Cafe de olla is not good, quesadilla is basic, scone was awful – but I will say their red pork tamale was good.
