The biggest issue is they dont call when trailer is ready. Instead of resting you gotta call every hour and check with them. Drop yard is muddy with trailers parked crooked. I was out in 9 hrs from the moment I dropped trailer. Didn’t see restrooms on site.

Been stuck here since 1 PM with an overweight trailer (80k+ lbs) — it’s now 18:00PM and still no door, no progress, nothing. They fixed my load at 22:42.After that waited for paperwork got paperwork 4hours later. Ruined all day as well night Super slow place, no updates, just sitting and waiting. Wasting hours for no reason.

Park in street, walk to check in, walk back get truck, have trailer inspected, drive around back to turn around, drop empty in yard you passed coming in. Bobtail back to get trailer, scale and escape!
Yes the procedure for getting your load is a bit dumb, but it looks like they trained their loaders better or hired new ones. Not a terrible experience. Careful it can get tight in some spots

Park truck in street and walk into gate.
Employees at gate are sluggish zombied with no soul in their body. No clear direction as to where to drop empty and pickup loaded.
The loadrd trailer is raised up high.

One of the worst Tysons I have ever picking up I know sometimes it can be Hectic. but the security guards was rude to every truck driver. Their comments Were uncalled for. I’m Sorry, they had to work during the holidays, but so does truck drivers. We didn’t have the pleasure just going home either, so suck it up buttercup..

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
1. Drive past the empty drop yard.
2. Park on the street, walk to the guard shack to check in. Don’t park too long or they’ll ticket you, even if your waiting in line to check in, which is mandatory.
3. After checking in, walk back to your truck, then drive to the gate to get your trailer inspected. Make a u-turn in the back of the facility and drive back to the drop yard you just passed to drop your trailer.
4. Park in the drop yard or SOMEWHERE if your load is not ready. Bobtail back to the gate to pick up you load if it is ready. Scale out.
NEVER COME BACK HERE!
Wait times are LONG.
They may or may not answer the phone to check on your load.

By far the worst Tyson I’ve ever been to, 11 hours to get loaded only to be overweight on the trailer (they knew I was going to California so I can’t move the tandems back) and when they reloaded me I was overweight on the drive axles, total time spent there: 24 hours. Not to mention their lack of care of our equipment, I thought my trailer was gonna fold in half the way the forklift driver was flying in there, avoid this place at all costs

Process is pretty easy for the most part. Park on the side of the rode behind the signs and walk to check in with a safety vest on. Once we get past that part we then get told to pull up to the gate on the right hand side and hop out for inspection apparently the guards are not allowed to touch the door per tyson safety. After the inspection we make a U-turn back past the railroad tracks or door 21 and drop our empty at the drop yard located on the left side in livestock behind the tyson employee parking. For all you fellow truckers it seems like their order numbers are random and they mostly always start with a letter or a number followed by 4 other numbers and then a 00 and a couple more numbers. Have a good Christmas everyone.

Out of all the Tyson plants I’ve picked up at this one is the absolute worst. Overweight twice. In-between reworks they destroyed a tire and side marker light. Almost 24 hours just to pick up a pre loaded trailer. Just sad and all the employees I talked to complained about how much they hate the place. Just close the place destroy it and start completely over.
