A cozy coffee shop located in a beautiful old town. The place feels very calm and relaxing.
I ordered a chai latte, and it was really delicious. There were only two male staff members working at the time. They didn’t smile or speak in a very friendly way, but they were helpful.
The restroom was clean, which I really appreciated. Overall, a nice quiet place to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

The food and atmosphere are great. They began mopping the floor at 5:15 pm, and we had to leave even though closing time is 6 pm. It seemed like they (at least that person) wanted us to leave early.
I would appreciate it if you would consider accepting refills, as some others have requested, if possible.

I entered with my wife to have coffee and do some work in my computer. Well, not possible because I just decided to go to the restroom before buying our things. None of them let me go because I had to purchase first. I can understand the “Restroom for Customers Only”… but you can use a bit of common sense if someone is telling you that I really need to go and your wife is the one paying. Btw, still went to a different branch and they didn’t have a problem.

An Exceptional Team!
I want to give a huge compliment to the entire Starbucks team — everyone here is always incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. You can truly feel that they enjoy what they do, and it creates such a positive atmosphere.
I especially want to mention Nashville (I hope I got the name right). He is genuinely one of the most pleasant and uplifting people I’ve ever met at Starbucks. Always attentive, sincerely friendly, and what really sets him apart is that he truly cares about people. It’s not just polite small talk — he’s genuinely interested, engaged, and radiates positive energy.
In a time when kindness can often feel superficial, Nashville’s authenticity stands out. You can see that he truly loves his work — and that makes every visit here special. Huge thanks to him and the entire team for making this Starbucks such a wonderful place!

The coffee Dillon made me was so good! And J, the cashier was super friendly. Both were amazing at customer service. The environment was clean and quiet. I’ll be back to work here soon!

I’ve been so impressed with the new management and amazing team at this Starbucks in Gainesville! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the difference—everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The new management has clearly set the tone for a great work environment, because the employees go above and beyond to make sure every order is right and every customer feels valued.
The store is always clean, the service is quick, and the energy from the staff is so positive. Whether I’m grabbing my morning coffee or stopping by in the afternoon, I leave with a smile. Huge shoutout to the entire team here—you can tell they really care about their customers. This is hands down my favorite Starbucks!

I went an hour before closing and the workers were acting like they were closed? They told me they turned off their blenders already and couldn’t make me a Frappuccino. AKA they didn’t want to do their job while getting paid. Why in the world would the blenders be turned off an hour before closing, as a coffee shop???? No explanation other than not wanting to do your jobs. Definitely the worst Starbucks in Gainesville, the workers were also sassy too, I would not waste your time going here

There have been lots of great changes recently. The new manager is very friendly and is always at the store. The service and culture finally resembles a true starbucks. It’s nice to see the store staffed and looking sharp.

It’s not a bad place to get a coffee however Ive never gone without the exterior having homeless scattered around asking for a coffee and it’s the only Starbucks I’ve ever been to where if you don’t tip they just stop and kind of walk away. It’s happened numerous times, as soon as they see no tip they don’t say “thank you”, “have a good day” or “you can grab your coffee there!” They literally walk away. Also I’ve notice if you do tip your coffee is fuller and taste better. I’m an avid Starbucks customer, I’ve been to branches all over the country and for some reason that one in particular is just different. If you need coffee, they have it but, don’t expect the “Starbucks experience”.

There’s a new manager at this place and she’s absolutely horrid.
She doesn’t know how to do any of the drinks or anything really she has to keep asking her employees how to do everything. And then she yells at them. And the service is really slow because it seems like everybody there is new. Nobody really knows how to do any of the drinks properly or how to ring them up. It appears that all of the people who were veterans of Starbucks were scared off by this new manager. Well she’s scaring off the customers too!
