Came in today to give this place a try and it was excellent! I got the 3 meat plate with brisket which was smoked to perfection and had very nice flavor. The pulled pork was perfect as well. The ribs here are very meaty and fall off the bone delicious! The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent! I ordered some additional sides just to try and I think I found my new favorite place to eat at in Yakima. My food was served hot and fresh and the portions were reasonable for the price. The staff here is very friendly and professional too. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for some good barbecue. Great job guys!!

I ordered a three meat plate. I mean…just look at the pictures. I will never order from this place again. This is pitiful. Do they honestly think this pitiful plate is worth $30? Run from this place. Not only is the food poor quality, the portion size is ridiculously small. I’ve ordered a lot of barbecue in my life but this is the worst place I have ever ordered from. Order from Famous Dave’s, their food is superior quality and the portion size fits the price. I wanted to try out a new barbecue place and decided to give Dickey’s a shot, and this place is absolute trash. Look at those tiny pieces of brisket. There are two bites there. The food is ice cold. I honestly don’t know how this place is in business. I showed someone I work with my food and they were shocked at this pathetic plate as well. It’s like the food was sitting out all day. They were too lazy to make fresh food, and threw together scraps. Disgusting. You notice all the 1star negative reviews start rolling in once new owners took over the restaurant. They are cutting portion sizes, keeping prices the same, and selling lower quality food. I hope this clown idea he has to boost profits backfires, because my food was so bad door dash gave me a 100% refund, and I’ll never eat there again. Good business strategy. Sell horrible food for a high prices

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is one of my new favorite places to get a good meal under $10 they always have some kind of deal going on and I’ll never complain about the great food and service you get there. The only thing I think needs to be brought up is how sticky the floor is every step you take it sounds like velcro. Other than that good food great prices. What else could you ask for.

Ordered 4 meats and 2 sides. It was crazy expensive. The brisket was cold had no flavor and there was so much fat cap on it… it was gross. The pulled pork was ice cold and dry no flavor and tasted old. Ribs were full of cartilage and were to dry. The jalapeño sausage was good. We weighed all our meets because we got quarter pounds none of them weighed a quarter pound except the sausage. The Mac and cheese was cold, dry and hardening. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and the gravy was practically water.
Go to famous Dave if you want bbq! This place needs to close down because it’s not good at all!!!

$27 meat platter portion size was SO small. No sauce even thou requested. Order 3 soda, no ice and the drinks were extremely syrupy- little to no carbonation.

Good food, fast service, and nice atmosphere with fitting music. The portion size of the food could’ve been a little bit bigger considering the amount it cost. They have free ice cream which is cool though and kids eat free on Sundays 🙂

Posting this as a safety warning. I ordered a Dr Pepper, but the drink provided was root beer. I have a known intolerance to root beer and I vomit every time I drink it, so this substitution made me sick and the meal was completely wasted. If a customer orders a specific drink, do not switch it without explicit confirmation. This is not a minor mistake for people with known allergies to Quillaia extract.
