Service was very good, owner was friendly and helpful. Got the Italian sub and the meatball sub. Italian was good, although the quality of the deli meats wasn’t the best. The meatball sub was a disappointment. I was expecting the meatballs to be cooked in the marinara sauce, not just a cold marinara sauce poured on top of the microwaved meatballs. The price was good though.

This is without a doubt the place you want to get a submarine. Paypou’s makes THE MOST ULTIMATE SUB, there is no comparison anywhere else. Not only do you get the biggest sub in the region, but also the best value for money. Papou is also a pleasure to chat with a gentleman at work. This is a must try and I highly recommend. Don’t forget to also get some ice cream here they serve the original Tiger Tail to note. We bought the 2 can dine combo it was $25 for the biggest 2 subs in the region. Fresh meat and condiments just amazing the amount of meat. Forget the others and GO TO PAPOU’S.

You want a sub thats bigger, better and even cheaper than subway? You come here. Fresher ingredients and a sweetheart of an elderly woman who was working there. God bless her. My wife and I could barely open our mouths wide enough to take a bite. Wouldn’t choose subway over this place. Had the mortadella club, my wife had the assorted. Both of us agreed, best place for a sub in cambridge and you cant go wrong with the price.

Finally got a chance to eat here. AMAZING! Loaded with meats and toppings it had the perfect flavour and I was perfectly full afterward. They just don’t make em like this anymore. Chris the owner is great! I will be back, often. A must-try if you are a traditional sub lover.

I use to visit this place when it was in Hespeler, not sure how many yrs ago. It was decent. The reason we went was cause they offered good deals for buying subs in bulk. Lets say 4 subs. They gave you a better price than subway or my fave Mr Subs. The subs were good. Certainly not the best sub i’ve eaten. But good. Not sure why some people say they drive from an hour away to get Papou’s.. I wouldn’t drive 15 minutes. I live in Galt and have never visited there location. Yet i buy sub’s a few times a week.

This is a hidden gem . I never remember to take pictures of the suns as they are so good and big and yummy . All I think if is the first bite. This sub shop not only fills my tummy it warms my heart! He is the sweetest man and I swear one sun would equal 2 Subway subs ! The meat and toppings are fresh and the sub weighs a tonne. Parking is at the side of the building and maybe a little awkward but take the chance to stop in and remember why you fell in love with a sub sandwich. My mom and I went there and she is the pickest person but she loves the favour and feels you get more than your money worth with Papou. Do yourselves and your stomachs a favour and make a stop into Papous for the New Year ! Also I promise to post a picture next visit !!
