Uno Mas opened in December of 2016 with the idea that you shouldn’t have to drive to Portland to find great beer and bright, vibrant food and drinks with ingredients made in-house, from scratch. Whether it’s the pico scooped up with hot chips fried from fresh-cut tortillas, or the tonic used in our original cocktails, that from-scratch philosophy informs everything we place on our menu, and at your table. Our experience here was a very pleasant one.
The staff was incredibly friendly and competent. Even though it was busy, my wife and I got seated at the bar and had excellent service. We did wait a little while for our food, but it was well worth it (and we already knew it was busy). My wife will easily say that their burger is the best burger she has ever had in her life. No exaggeration.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and extremely comfortable. They definitely put the emphasis on Maine, and had it in the little details as well. I was able to try some Maine-made hot sauces that were excellent. And some original Maine-made soft drinks were available on the menu.
The prices were very reasonable. Especially considering that I only ate half of my enchilada order before needing to be done. They were filling and delicious.
We will definitely keep them on our radar and be back again in the future.

Very hospitable and the smell of fresh citrus was great in the air. Had one of the most unique beers I’ve ever had as well as some other local brews. Food was good just wish there was more bang for the buck. Tacos could use a little more sauce/fat.

Uno Mas -one more, which was the feeling with everything we ate there. From Margaritas to Baja fish tacos (fried fresh haddock with pineapple salsa). The service is genuine, warm, and accommodating. Being from California and loving Mexican food, Uno Mas did not disappoint. The experience leaves you with the thought of going back again-uno mas.

Had a very good experience here and we will definitely be back. Nice simple menu with a nice choice of flavor combinations. Tacos done right with fresh ingredients with plenty of flavor. My boyfriend had the chipotle chicken and it had really nice heat to it and so much flavor! I had the steak which was cooked perfectly with pickled radishes and cauliflower. Yum. Clean place with great service!
