Everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious, and the samples were such a sweet surprise and super generous. Your customer service and kindness really stand out. Slim is GREAT people. I was in the area to help a friend and stopped in randomly for something quick. She gave me free samples, a free beef patty, chocolate.. it feels like walking into your families place. And the food was amazing on top of it all. If theres any place thats worth visiting and supporting, I promise you its this one.

I have always said the best food comes from small hidden kitchens and Slim’s Cafe just proved my statement again. The shrimp and grits was extremely good. Arguably the best I have ever had. The lady behind the counter was attentive and generous. Find this place and give it a shot, I know I will be back soon.

We stopped in for the first time, met Susan (aka Slim) and were so impressed with the customer service, excellent food and overall atmosphere of Slim’s, we will be going back and truly enjoyed her Gumbo soup, meat pockets, and the cream cheese spread on the pastry! Had the Piklit dogs and they were great. Sampled her soup and came home with a large order. Plus she offered up other items to try and everything was great. Slim is extremely cordial and made the stop great. Will return soon!
