No frlls. People say its a hole in the wall. Friendly and fast service. The parking lot attendant is friendly. Thei rSulLungTang is tasty and we get it a couple times a month. The panchan is minimal but the cabbage kimchi and Kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) are tasty.

The attention from servers is great it feels like if you are at someone’s home with very nice grandmas caring for you. We ordered the Sogogi Suyug plater (beef), and the Ujok Suyug plater (tendon) we also ordered the Galbi Tang soup and the Sukkur Sullung Tang soup. Both have beef but the soup base is different one is more fatty rich and the other one is more light and clear but both flavorful and different noodles. Rice comes with your meal along with Kim chi and other sides. The space is small and you may have to wait to be seated. We were lucky to avoid the lunch time crowd. Price was good for what we got.

Comfort food at its finest at JunTong SulLungTang in Ktown. This small establishment serves the most authentic sul lung tang (ox bone soup) and galbi tang (short rib soup).
This mom & pop restaurant is such an amazing hidden gem, I love this place even more than Hanbat, another well known place for sullungtang. They serve huge portions of soup that feel warm and homemade with love. Their side dishes are simple but extremely delicious, this shop’s fresh kimchi is the best I’ve ever had.

1. Sul lung tang ($18)
2. Galbi tang ($23)
3. Jar of fresh kimchi ($17)
The soups are so rich with the nutrients from the beef bones and are esp satisfying on days where you crave a nourishing soup. The sullungtang comes completely unsalted so you can adjust the sodium to your liking The galbi tang is so flavorful and comes with 4 large short ribs that fall off the bone when you pick them up! The sullungtang used to be my favorite but now I think the galbi tang has taken its place..
Each portion comes with a generous portion of tender meat, noodles, and rice. The purple rice is my favorite but you have to tell the waitress in advance!

We had ox tail soup and sogogi suyug, it was very good would have like some vegatables with the suyug but it was good! Atmosphere original korean restaurant good hommy feel been coming here for years and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I’m not a local but stumbled upon this place by accident. This is probably one of the best place I’ve ever eaten at. I knew it was going to be good when all I see coming to the restaurant are local Koreans, and they consistently seem to have regulars coming in. The soup is extremely flavourful, rich, and very meaty. Don’t quote me on this but it tasted like they cooked the soup stock for hours to achieve this. Their portions are extremely generous too. I will definitely be visiting this place again when I come to LA next time!
