My favorite barbecue place hands down! The barbecue I wonderful, great fries, beans and if you still have room there’s cobbler and – my favorite- warm brownie with ice cream! Service is top drawer & always friendly. Ain’t no chain corporate bs either – local owned & operated by real folks!

Came in for lunch, my very first visit, was having a bad day and a friend of mine, Mary brought me in jts, I was met at the counter with the most delightful young lady. She has no name tags so I can only describe her as a wonderful young lady. She smiled and laughed with me, making my day just a little more easier. She told me its ok to smile even through the storms. Im amazed at the best customer service I had received in years and wonderful food. I will be a returning customer. Good job jts please give that young lady a pat on the back. She deserves it.b

This place had a good rating so I decided to drop in try the Bar-B-Que. As I walked in I noticed the inside was bigger than the view from the parking lot. Inside the decor was an older style but very nice and clean. I ordered and the cashier was very helpful in deciding what to get. Ended up with a sliced brisket plate with chili and Mac & cheese. Everything on the plate was delicious! The waitress was very friendly and made sure everything was ok and topped my tea several times. As I was leaving the waitress offered candy mints. Excellent place to enjoy tasty bbq and excellent service.

I’ve been going to jts since it was on air depot always great and I understand when they have a night off Friday night we ate there and great service and everything was great except my ribs they were tough and seem to be a day old it was around 7pm and maybe they ran out of fresh ribs but don’t serve old ribs to a customer and I will go back like I said I understand a bad day just don’t serve old tough ribs

My husband and I had dinner here last night, we had a great time! The food was fantastic. We tried the ribs, pulled pork sandwich, hotlink sandwich and fries. Everything was fresh and hot. The vibe of the restaurant was homey and warm. But the best part about JT’s was the service! Not only was our waitress attentive and kind but the whole staff was great! This is clearly a local favorite. We will be back

Visited here for the 3rd or 4th time within a month, so that says alot. The food is absolutely the best I have had in a long time. Atmosphere was great, older, homestyle vibe. Service is always so polite and leaves a smile on my face. Came in Friday and business was busy and the young lady taking our order was the sweetest ever. I have seen her more than twice before and I tell you she could make your day. No name tags, wish I knew her name. She deserves recognition. As there was a line at the counter I over heard one of the managers, no name tag, yell at her and say, “you mind your business”‘ “im talking to him”, she was pointing to kitchen. How I heard it, the young lady was only trying to help, and even if not it was very unprofessional for the manager to have yelled it in front of all the customers. The poor girl was obviously embarrassed but she kept her cool and continued to take orders with a smile on her face…..I would not have, had it been me. I wanted to give her a tip, i told her to put in her pocket, but she says, we all work together to make sure everyone is happy so everyone gets a share of the tips. So I tipped but not as much as I wanted to. Granted this is a long review, however I felt need to let it be known, be good to good workers the young woman is ALWAYS so very polite.
