Personally, I honestly don’t understand the hate that Space 5 gets. I dined here twice (once with some friends and another time with a family member) and every time I always have a good experience. Service is always nice and generous. They don’t rush you whenever you’re eating even when there’s a 2 hour limit. The inside aesthetic is very unique as it literally feels like you’re in space when you step inside. As for the food, I thought it was pretty good for Louisiana standards. Meats were good and had flavor to them. Veggies were okay too. Their tom yum was flavorful. I only got their hot pot & Korean bbq combo for dinner ($33.99 per person) the two times I went there. I can only speak from my own experience there, but I honestly have no complaints. I would recommend coming here if you’re in the area and craving kbbq and/or hot pot. They also have a sushi option too, but I haven’t tried it yet. I might choose it the next time I come by.

My boyfriend and I have been here many times already and we have had great service. The soup broths for the hot pot are very savory and well falvored. There are many meet and veggie options for the kbbq as well. We love the kimchi a d variety this place offers. The deal for sushi, kbbq and hot pot for roughly 30 something almost $40 is not bad for the many options given the atmosphere and decorations is amazing and what initially intrigued me about this place. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back here!

Celebrated my Twin Nephews 18th Birthday today This place is a great. Delicious food, A+ Customer Service (Thank you Luana), and the atmosphere is a Cool Vibe. Well worth the price and the time spent with family ❤️

Let me start off by saying our server Calvin (with a c) was very polite and attentive, I personally go to a lot of restaurants to try new things and he was the first to ask (are you new here?) I said yes and he showed me everything and what to do, he was the best. Thanks Calvin.
Now the food, I wasn’t aware we would have to cook it ourselves (discovered this on tiktok) but I like the new experience it was amazing the food was well taken care of and I had a blast.
And the aura and the vibes all around great with an outer space theme. I love it.

I wpild definitely not discouraged you from going eat here, its just not my first choic3. I always like trying new places and I did but ill tell you why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. 1. We got the sushi and BBQ option. I found the waitress did not check like she should have being we needed her to order the sushi part if our all you can eat. So we ended up eating more Korean BBQ than we wanted to. Then the sushi wasnt the best and she got some of it wrong. Also did check in to see if we needed drinks napkins etc that often. Second the meat wasnt bad quality it just was great. I only liked one kind the bulgogi and they kept running out of the seasoned shrimp so we had to use the unseasoned shrimp from the hot pot bar. Then the hot apps were buffet style and an after thought. The 4 is because it was all good but it was rhe experience it wasn’t looking for.

I had such a great experience at Space 5! Our server Iyan was amazing ,super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. He explained the menu really well and gave great recommendations. The Korean BBQ, hotpot, and sushi were all fresh and delicious, and everything came out fast. The restaurant has such a fun, chill vibe too. Huge thanks to Iyan for making our meal extra enjoyable ..we’ll definitely be coming back!

Way better than the other hot pot place in Metairie. The staff was friendly, the food is delicious and the theme is so fun. The sushi is actually delicious and made fresh. Make sure to get on the wait list ahead of time online or the wait will be brutal. It is definitely kid friendly and there is dessert!
The only 2 things to be aware of
1. They dont actually have the hot apps that are listed on the menu anymore but they do have the salads and some hot options at the buffet like dumplings, egg rolls etc, but beware crab ragoons are nothing like what you are probably used to.
2. The Thai broth is quite quite spicy.

The fried shrimp and calamari was amazing the shrimp tasted local! Idk if it was but if It was so good and my husband is a fisherman and knows his sea food he loved all the seafood selections! Very good quality we really enjoyed ourselves, the other meat selection is good too! I only wish they also had spicy cucumber as a option at the walk up buffet bit that’s all I was missing! The kimchi was great aswell!

What an amazing spot to get ayce hotpot, kbbq, and sushi! The place is so cool and neat, it was a whole experience! There was so many food options, more than I expected and seen elsewhere. The meat quality and selection was top tier. One of the best hotpot and kbbq spots I’ve been to! I highly recommend and would come back!

Fantastic experience. They had a wide variety of options for my grilling experience and honestly they have better sushi than a lot of places in New Orleans. The atmosphere is fun and bright and futuristic. It is well worth the $33 dollars. You definitely get your monies worth.
