My wife and I recently stopped in to have some wings after some late night shopping. We got the deep fried cheese sticks along with two orders of wings. We weren’t disappointed that’s for sure the wings were awesome cooked just right the perfect amount of sauce on them. The bar was clean and the bartender was very polite. If you haven’t been there since it was the confectionary I’d highly recommend stopping by getting some food and a couple cold ones.

I did not try any of the food but it looked good. Drinks were not too expensive and served efficiently. Finding a small bar that still serves drinks in real glasses should not be such a challenge, but 8th Street meets the task and builds well balanced drinks in great glassware. I was skeptical of two pool tables could fit in such a small space, but 8th Street once again shows a small space can house big ideas and grand execution. No bells or whistles, just a simple bar that does everything right: atmosphere, service, and entertainment. Thank you for a stellar night!

The food was great, the service was fast, and the bartender was friendly. The fries were salty. I like my fries salty, but if you don’t, you may not like the fries. The wings were cooked to perfection — crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The place was very clean. There are a couple of pool tables and an outside seating area.
The is a little parking lot behind the bar that isn’t completely obvious, because it still lists the name of the previous establishment.

The food is good for being a bar. But the steak sandwich is only steak and peppers with cheese. The Lucy was supposed to have a fried onion ring but it had bacon….. it was 6$ for a shot. They don’t serve bbq they serve 5 flavors of chicken wings

Today was my first time at 8th Street since the owner changed. Seating is comfortable and roomy. They have indoor, outdoor, and a long bar available for seating. The bathroom was nice, but It needed a hook for my bag and jacket :/
I ordered the blt with fries and a side of “special sauce.” Their bread is thick (almost too thick), but it was good. The fries were way over salted – I couldn’t eat them even with the special sauce (which is kind of like a bigmac sauce).
Also, don’t go expecting to get dessert They only offer flat, pre-wrapped, cold brownies. I was so disappointed, ya’ll know that I love desserts… I miss the Chocolate Peanut butter pie :'(

Found a new gem. Steak hoagie (spicy)was top notch. Bartender ( Kat____) was very informative and pleasant. Locals are very welcoming! Italian dressing is a must try.

I am not one to leave a negative review or even a review at all. However I have been driven to this point and feel I should share my experience with others incase they are thinking of going to this bar. I am rating this establishment 1 star because my wallet was taken while at this bar. I tried to talk to multiple bartenders who did not help me much at all on trying to find out what happened to it. My boyfriend and I came back to the bar the next morning, Saturday, around 11:00am, the time they were supposed to open, no one showed up till after 12:00pm *edit* (They mustve changed the open time to 12:00pm because now it says online that they don’t open till 12:00pm but it did say 11:00am.) and we gave them my information so they could contact us if they have seen anything. I did not hear anything until Sunday afternoon, my friend called the bar to see if they have heard anything and the bartender on the phone hysterically said “You tell that girl if she believes that wallet will come back, it will come back” and started crying on the phone. (super suspicious and weird) I went there again that week hoping to speak to a different bartender who could help me review the camera footage. I sat there for an hour and a half while their manager, who wasn’t even on site, reviewed the footage from home and continuously updated the bartender on site, to relay the messages to me. After a while I ended up giving them my information and went home where I received a text. They sent me completely irrelevant screenshots of me at the bar with my wallet at 12:33am when I did not leave till 1:25am. So what happened between 12:33am and 1:25am?? They are claiming that I did not re-enter the bar after seeing me with my wallet at 12:33am. (kinda shady) I know this is a lie because I have screenshots of the times I was there, inside the bar, from photos with friends and exact times shown on life360. They would not help me any further and they were being extremely shady about the whole situation which leads me to believe it was one of the bartenders or someone they are close with that took my wallet. I informed the bartender that I was contacting, that I did in-fact stay at the bar until 1:25am. To my utter surprise, she completely ghosted me and quit texting me after making that claim. I have not heard anything since.
Not to mention it cost me $80 for 5 tiny little “mouth wash cup” sized mixed drinks. They also charged my friend $2 for every extra SPLASH of pop she wanted in her drink. I have previously heard bad things about this establishment such as one bartender getting fired for being accused of stealing money from another “veteran” bartender. I have heard they overcharge drinks, and not to mention while I was there (the night my wallet was stolen), I heard one of the bartenders claim she didnt know the name on one of the tabs, so she proceeded to charge it anyway. I still decided to give it a chance, maybe that is my mistake and I should’ve listened to everyone around me. They will never get another thing from me. -23/100

KAT IS THE WORST BARTENDER. WEIRD. WE TRIED TO COME IN AND SHE SAID THEY WERE CLOSED. IT WAS 11pm!! They close at 2. it was open for her friends to sit and drink tho. also let people who didn’t work there behind the bar. absolutely embarrassing establishment.

Loved the food, and the prices aren’t bad at all!
Staff were friendly, prompt, and answered all of our questions.
There are daily dinner specials that are awesome and affordable.
We got takeout for two, the Lucy BBQ smash burger (11.99 and includes fries), and the wings + fries combo (13.99).
We will be going back again!
