No idea what I was expecting necessarily, but I definitely was not expecting this. Everything is very well seasoned, tastes great. Excellent execution. Cheapskate in me wants bigger portions but in THIS economy? This is par for the course. Congratulations Midtown, you now have a decent Mexican joint, sorry Veloz and Condado, this is how you do quality right.

If you want something cheap go to Taco Bell, if you want something a bit more refined I’d come here. They’re offering 4 tacos for $20 so it’s not exactly the most expensive meal you’ll have but I’d wager it’s worth the money.

I was served by the owner she’s such a lovely lady. I ordered the $1 ELOTE WINGS on a Wednesday. And a Birria Taco . Everything was fresh and delicious. Also thanks to the chef. This was my first time I will be back

This was a recommendation from a friend last night but it was late we didn’t make it. She talked it up so much that I tried it for lunch today and wasn’t disappointed. I couldn’t choose what I wanted to try so I went for the meal that had a little bit of everything (wings, tacos and corn). I even tried Jarritos Pineapple for the first time with my meal. I ordered online and grabbed it as a pickup. I was greeted with a smile. Food was hot when I made it home. All of the items were full of flavor. Nothing extra was needed.

Wow! We are at a concert in Detroit at El Club from Cleveland,, & dude from this food truck came over on the patio and asked us if we wanted to sample the elote. Heck yes, & we proceeded to mow the BEST ever smothered elote! He told us about the menu & if we were staying, would totes order! GO, GO, Detroit! I have included a before and after pic. I had to reapply my lipstick. 5⭐️’s

Way too overpriced. $6 for ONE taco which wasn’t even that good. Two tacos with chips and queso was $21.00, which is really wild. I was still hungry after this meal. I truly don’t know how the reviews are so high…. Maybe they’re advertising in the right places. I’ll never come back or recommend it to anyone.

OMG! I remember coming across this place online a while back & saved on my phone. Finally hubby & I decided to try tonight & it was everything & some. The food is top notch. We had the chicken party wings, chicken & beef crunch wrap & birria tacos. Everything was so delicious, & good quality fresh ingredients. You can tell they care & take pride in how they prepare your food. The owner super cool, kind & very humble. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely be a regular.

The reviews were great and I was staying nearby in an Airbnb so I figured I’d stop in and perhaps they were having a bad day but the food was not as good as it was when it was Alley Tacos. Pork egg roll… the pork had no seasoning and was nearly mush like it had been over worked in the shredding, also the egg roll wrapper wasn’t quite cooked it was really stretchy and starchy.

The service definitely did not come with a smile. The guy kept his sunglasses on the whole time and didn’t smile once. You talked in such a low voice I could barely even hear him. Like he would rather be anywhere else or like he was high.

The wait time for the food was reasonable. They were not busy at all.

The prices are quite high. I got a combo with two Birria tacos, some elote and some elote wings or something. Skin on the wings was rubbery and there was too much cumin or something. All I could taste. Overpowered the mayo even.

For that combo and the egg roll it was $32. I didn’t even eat half of it. It was all really One Note. No real flavor or texture. Even the limes that came in the box had no juice in them.

Made me sad because by the eye it looked great.

this place was great, the elote is the best I’ve had since leaving New Mexico. The crunchwrap with the queso was amazing. Been here twice and never had a complaint

We ordered the nacho, bariria taco, elote shrimp & a crunch wrap. Everything was ok the crunch wrap needed a little work it wasn’t so tasty. HOWEVER the elote shrimp was so damn good with the mini corn in there after I tried that I didn’t want anything else…omg that corn & shrimp will forever have my heart! Perfect must try dish!

Business looks to be under construction and there isn’t any indoor seating, only outside…but you’re able to sit at the bar on the corner.

Parking is hectic

Did I mention the corn & shrimp….soooo good btw

Will be back!

The absolute best tacos I’ve ever had. I had two soft tacos(beef & chicken) and a chicken birria taco. The tacos were flavorful and tasted like they were made in Mexico. The birria sauce was like a souped up queso. The price is so affordable that almost thought they had a misprint.
I’ll be back here very soon.
