Busy hole in the wall Mexican seafood restaurant. I felt like everyone knows everyone lol we stumbled upon this restaurant on a Friday night and caught the musical performance – it was loud and lively. Food was great and chips & salsa were flowing. A bit salty for my liking but seafood was fresh.

I really like the atmosphere. And I also think the food is decent, but the service was terrible. We probably stayed about an hour and a half and spent a decent amount of money, one of the staff came up and asked us when we were going to leave. There were multiple booths empty at the time as well, which made me pretty frustrated.

There’s good food and great food and La Vero’s always hits just right. On top of that, this is the spot for curing La Cruda.
So far everything I’ve had has been absolutely delicious, the service is top notch, and it’s a place I’d bring anyone for a chill (no frills) atmosphere.

To start off, menus were dirty, sticky and peeling. Salsa bottles pretty much the same. Table was also sticky.
They told us to sit where ever we wanted. Cool. Took them 10mins to bring us chips and salsas. Fine. Conversation was good so we didn’t mind. We ordered when they brought the salsa (she didn’t bring it with the chips. She was too busy catering to the drunk table next to us) and 40mins later our food still hadn’t arrived. Nothing crazy, literally two plates of chilaquiles with eggs and beef steak.
One star ‘cause they didn’t charge us for the 2 waters that they brought us but the people that had arrived 15mins AFTER us were already half way through their plates. Don’t know if we’ll give them another chance but this was definitely disappointing. Can’t even post pictures of the food ‘cause it never arrived. First time this has ever happened to us and we eat out pretty often.

Omg. This is the best Mexican meals around. This area is saturated with good Mexican food,but this particular restaurant has great Marisco and standard Mexican cuisine. Seafood is there specialty. But I’ve had tacos and chorizo and eggs. I highly recommend this place.

Their Camarones Costa Azul are delicious!! Best shrimp plate I have ever had. There’s a reason La Veros has remained a local favorite for so many years. They treat their customers RIGHT and have AMAZING food!
