Mim’s Mobile Grill, located at the Back Lot, is a mobile version of our fast casual restaurant. We specialize in gyros, traditional Greek foods, fusion cuisine and bold flavors. We provide wholesome cooked to order meals in a quick service time frame and a fun, lively Back Lot atmosphere! Mim’s Mobile Grill is a seasonal business open during the summer months from May 1 – October 31.

Mims is so good! The spicy feta fries are flavorful, hot, and fresh. The gyros are always packed full of delicious and quality ingredients, and the service is always laid-back and kind. My mom and I each got a gyro and traded one half with each other, so I had a chicken tender gyro and a veggie one. I’ve had the falafel one a few times and that’s my go-to, but since we were there late in the evening on a Saturday they had run out of falafel. Highly recommend if you’re up for Mediterranean food!

Very good gyros! Visiting from Seattle and decided to hit up this spot when I was in the area. Very impressed. Staff are friendly, spoke to Trevor for a bit while ordering. Next time I’m in Petoskey I will definitely be coming back. Gonna miss this place when I head back home.

These people don’t know how to make Mediterranean food. I’m at a bar with food trucks needing gluten free. Almost everything here has gluten. At Mim’s, I was disappointed to find out that ALL their meat has gluten, and so does their falafel. Lamb, beef, and falafel should not have wheat flour as a binder. The only thing on their menu I can eat is a veggie “gyro” over romaine. Except they also added a lot of spinach, which I hate. The main ingredient is supposed to be zucchini, but I only got 3 thin planks of under-grilled zucchini. Plus the only protein here is a little bit of hummus. I’m still going to be hungry after spending $20. It tastes ok but there’s not much to it. It also took way too long to get it after I ordered.

We got a gyro here and thoroughly enjoyed it. They use quality ingredients. The owner is also very friendly and helpful, we would definitely come back here when we’re back in Petoskey.

My boyfriend and I ate at Back Lot Beer Garden in Petoskey and had the opportunity to try this food truck. The service was great and very friendly. I loved the shrimp plate and I choose to eat it got it a side of buffalo sauce, which I highly recommend (cocktail sauce was very good though) my boyfriend got a plain burger which was decent (I do not find this to be a valid review though since it was plain)

Found them quite by accident, turned out to be a HAPPY accident. My really likes gyros, me not so much. I had the Hades Shrimp gyros. It was delicious. And didn’t have a long wait. Will definitely go there again.

WOW! What a gem! Looking for a bite to eat and found Mim’s in the food truck beer garden! Clearly a local fav spot! I saw the line (which moved quickly) got in it thinking the locals knew best! Got the gyros and just delectable! We ate every bite- and scraped the plate! Packed with flavor , savory fresh pita, tangy sauce! Owner was so nice! Yum! Will go back!
