California Sushi is a beautiful place with a friendly and attentive team. I had a date with my wife here, and we really enjoyed the experience. We ate a lot and left completely full. They offer a great variety of options—rolls, nigiri, sashimi—everything in good portions and at very fair prices.
We arrived at a good time, because shortly after, the restaurant filled up. It’s a small team, so they ask for patience when it gets busy. Even so, after we had already finished eating, we suddenly felt like ordering one more roll. We asked our server if it was possible, and despite the restaurant being packed, they still prepared and served our roll first. We really appreciated that level of care and service.
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality Japanese food with great flavor. A wonderful option—definitely recommended.

If I could give 10/5 stars I would!! This is me and my boyfriend’s number one spot as experienced foodies for great Windsor sushi!! We used to come in physically all the time because the co-owner is such a generous woman!! (we are homebody’s, so we uber now) They deserve the hype.

Easily my favourite sushi joint in Windsor. The service is impeccable(food came fresh and fast and the hostest was polite, professional and very attentive). The food is beyond scrumptious and the prices are very affordable. 2 rolls, 2 appetizers and a pot of tea was just over $50(including tax and tip).

Amazing sushi and an even more amazing chef! I visited during a business trip, and the experience was exceptional. I visited during the evening hours of the weekdays and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. She explained to me the Korean menu besides sushi and Japanese. The dishes I ordered were pretty and delicious. The atmospheric music played quietly in the restaurant and the hall staff checked the table from time to time, allowing me to have a comfortable and pleasant meal. It was a very satisfying meal. I will visit again.

This is THE BEST sushi I have had in my extensive travels! Everything was fresh, rich in flavor, and overall delicious! Service was excellent, restaurant was very clean, staff went above and beyond! They shared with us that they recently opened under new management last month. We ordered the tuna Tataki, the sashimi appetizer, and the Chirashi Don. The next time we are in town, we will absolutely be stopping here!
