My Husband and I have visited LaValles’s a few times, and are so excited each time we go back. Their crab legs are cooked to absolute perfection, the Owner is gracious and accommodating, and the wait staff are very kind and attentive. We Love their homemade cheese spread and crackers too- so simple, yet so good! The Owner always sits us at our favorite table, overlooking the ballroom/venue area. We can’t wait to go back (which we are tomorrow, hooray!!!)

It might be the most expensive place in Ridgway, but it it well worth it. Been numerous times over the years and have never had a bad meal! All you can eat crab legs are always a heavenly adventure! Highly recommend. They also have a fantastic staff!

On our way to Toronto, we stopped by LaValle’s Italian Garden, which is located in The Royal Inn. When we arrived, the staff asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge or dining room.
After placing our drink order, our server Diana brought us a basket of warm Italian White Bread, which was served with Sun Glow European style butter blend and olive oil dipping sauce with grated parmesan and salt. Diana was efficient and paid attention to detail.
For appetizers, we shared an order of the Steamed Mussels, which consisted of mussels cooked in a salty garlic herb butter broth. Four of the mussels in the bowl were already dead and sealed shut.
My parents shared a Caesar Salad and Chicken Marsala. The Caesar Salad consisted of fresh romaine lettuce tossed with croutons and parmesan cheese in creamy and garlicky caesar dressing. The Chicken Marsala consisted of tender chicken breast sautéed with fresh mushrooms and garlic in a marsala wine sauce. It came with sautéed vegetables, Ham & Potato Dumplings soup, and crispy Sweet Potato Fries. The Ham & Potato Dumplings soup reminded me of a blander version of a Potato and Leek soup.
I enjoyed the Chicken Francese, which consisted of a seasoned egg battered boneless chicken breast cooked in a lemony beef broth. It came with sautéed vegetables, house salad with Balsamic Vinegar, and baked sweet potato with whipped butter and brown sugar on the side.
Since we were tight on time, we couldn’t stick around for dessert.

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful dinner tonight. I had the steak and shrimp with a beautiful Caesar salad, warm dinner rolls with dipping oil. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs with a Caesar salad. Server Brianna was very friendly and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend this nostalgic dining experience.

Excellent service from our waiter. Always a simple one page menu. This is a strength not a weakness. The dishes are top notch, change seasonally or thematically, and are fresh. Atmosphere is both welcoming and classy.
