Unassuming, modern restaurant whipping up spiced-to-order curries, noodles & other Thai favorites.

I had the fried rice with pork, at their lunch hour, and it was really good. The rice was not too soft or hard, it had the right texture for fried rice.
The pork was tender and I could tear it apart with my fork which I really appreciated.
I had the egg rolls as a starter which was good with the sauce, and the thai tea to go.
Service was great and we were not kept waiting.
It is a great place to have a quick and satifying lunch and return to work

I really wanted to like Mint Thai, but overall it missed the mark for me.
First off, this is not authentic Thai food. I ordered everything Thai hot and was disappointed to find the spice level barely there—definitely not what you’d expect from real Thai heat. The drunken noodles were just okay, but nothing memorable. The basil fried rice tasted more like a basic Chinese takeout dish than anything Thai.
The wings were surprisingly good, and the portion sizes were decent, but the flavors across the board lacked the bold, vibrant taste you look for in Thai cuisine.
For the price, it’s just not worth it. I’ll be looking elsewhere next time I’m craving real Thai food.

We were craving Thai food and this was the closest place. We started off good with chicken satay, came with 4 skewers, tender and hot! The Thai tea is too sweet for our liking, the Tom Yum soup tasted like a tomato soup, and papaya salad was crunchy but no flavor. Both were very tangy, and need more flavor. The main dishes were good. We came during lunch, it’s served with salad and an egg roll. My pad Thai was good, slightly sweet and spicy and good flavor. We also got beef pad see ew, it was also very flavorful and smoky aroma. We got mild but there was still a hint of spice in it. Overall we could have done without the extra side dishes, I would come back for pad Thai only.

I came here with a friend on a Wednesday evening at around 7:30pm for dinner before a movie. There was no wait and we were sat down immediately.
Food: 4/5
The chicken skewers appetizer was really tasty- the chicken itself had great flavor and was grilled beautifully such that it retained much of its juices. The flavor was complimented by peanut sauce that accompanied it. I ordered the combination pad Thai (no shrimp) with maximum level 5 spiciness. The pad Thai tasted amazing, but I barely felt any of the heat. They might have messed it up or their heat ratings are more geared towards the masses.
Service: 4/5
The usual. Service was decent, no complaints.
Price: 3.5/5
Four chicken skewers was a $7-8 appetizer. It seemed slightly steeper than I would have imagined. The pad Thai was a bit over $12 and the portion size was alright. I felt for that price they could have afforded to provide more noodles or more protein.
Overall good and might revisit if I’m in the area.

Love your food so much, I wanted to get it to eat at work on my lunch break. Only down side is paying 20$ for soup and there is no way to eat it unless I happen to have a giant bowl at my office. What are we supposed to do with this? I’ll save it for a cold dinner.

The yellow curry here was very good. It was flavorful, and the level 5 spicy was great! I really like spicy foods, and the 5 got me sweating without killing all other taste! It’s probably one of the best curries I’ve had in Houston. The soup dumplings were kind of just regular dumplings with a tiny bit of broth, and I feel like they were overpriced (8 tiny dumplings for $10). The service was also great though. Overall, I just don’t think the price to experience ratio warrants a full five stars, but still a great meal.

Excellent food. I can’t speak much of their service, as I’ve never dined in, but I’ve ordered takeout/delivery several times now.
My usual order is:
– pad see ew (mild w/shrimp)
– golden shrimp rolls
Pad See Ew is my favorite Thai dish and it is consistently delicious here. Great portions of shrimp and perfect flavor.
Their golden shrimp rolls are delicious and come with these BOMB shrimp-flavored chips that I wish I could find in a store.
10/10 – highly recommended.

I think I have found my new favorite Thai spot. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. If you love spicy food, this restaurant will do well for you—the spice level was perfect and the food was extremely flavorful. Will be coming back again.

I wasn’t exactly blown away by my experience here, but it was good all the same. We ordered red curry with rice and another entree of spicy fried rice. Relatively, I enjoyed the spicy fried rice better. I may probably stop by another day to try out other meals for a more comprehensive review.

Location was clean, kept, and had a chill atmosphere. My wife loves thai food and wanted some curry with spice. Our server was the only one as today was the first and it wasn’t a mega busy day. He was decently friendly and took our order, brought our drinks out swiftly. The appetizer we got was golden shrimp. I would give that about a 6/10, it wasn’t bad but had average flavor. The wrapping was good but the shrimp itself felt a bit lacking texture wise. My wife ordered green curry excited to see how the locations flavors were. I ordered the spicy fried rice with chicken and added beef. We were hungry and ready to eat. After the mid-level appetizer, we hoped the main dishes wold be great as we were literally the only dine in guests as the rest of the food during our time eating was to go orders. My wifes curry had pretty good flavor, tofu was good, however two big issues. The curry wasnt spicy at all, and the curry broth itself was watery. My spicy fried rice came out and turned out to just be fried rice unfortunately. We both weren’t about to wait for them to remake the dishes so we ate what we got but wondered what happend. I found out when I got the check that our waiter felt we must have been the wrong kind of clientele to order spicy food. Upon reviewing the receipt, not only did he put no spice under my wifes curry order, but he selected no spice…. for my SPICY FRIED RICE…. make that make sense.
Needless to say there are an absolute TON of other thai options in the area that we’d recommend instead of waisting your time paying for food that you didnt order. We never once asked the guy to not make anything spicy, never told him to make the curry spice free nor the spicy fried rice into regular fried rice. I dont want to think its because I dont fit a specific eithnic appearance outwardly but it just seems odd to remove all spice like that when you’ve got a hispanic waiter, waiting a table for two hispanic patrons who are fair skinned.
