Low Key Dive Bar : r/portlandme – Reddit

So I will be moving to Portland in a few days, very excited about it. I always am on the lookout for a good low key affordable dive bar.

So cute! An intimate spot on the East End with a cozy atmosphere, great staff, fantastic drinks, and light bites. We popped in for after-work drinks and fell in love!

I ordered The Grinch, a fun and indulgent mix of Ketel One, crème de menthe, crème de cacao, vanilla soft serve, and an Andes mint, delicious and festive. I also appreciated the international selection of wines, it was a great second choice.

My husband was hungry and ordered the Munjoy BLT with shaved turkey, thick-cut bacon, spring mix, tomato, basil aioli, and ciabatta, he opted for the chips. He loved it and is already planning a return visit to try the nachos.

This place is perfect for a nice, quiet night out. We arrived around 5 p.m. and had our pick of seats, but by the time we left, it was completely full! Plan accordingly.

Stopped in here after passing it on the way to the Eastern Prom for the 4th of July fireworks. The place caught my eye with its warm glow and Christmas lights, so I made a point to come back the next time I was in town — and it did not disappoint.
The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for winter, the drinks were excellent, and the service was great. Definitely worth a stop.

Low Key was the perfect spot for my wife and I to unwind with a drink and some shared plates with it’s warm welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed date night or outing with a couple friends. Going back again soon!

Perfect little cozy spot. Came in with a friend for a drink and catch up. We had no plan, no reservation and landed here. Lovely casual space, not too noisy for chatting, and nice cocktail offerings. Although not too hungry other than a nosh to accompany the cocktails, we split the BLT panini and harvest salad. Both were delicious and sizeable to share. We left satisfied, with the service, food, quality, and price was just right.

Low Key is a charming addition to Portland’s vibrant bar scene. This cozy spot offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying a leisurely evening with friends.

The drink menu boasts a well-curated selection of classic and innovative cocktails. The food menu complements the drinks perfectly, featuring a delicious assortment of bar snacks and sandwiches.

Sister bar to Jing Yan Tavern across the street and the new addition to Munjoy Hill. No need to explain too much since Jing Yan’s drink programs super solid and that’s what Low Key exactly is. There’s nothing low key about the quality of the drinks here. Excellent !

Small intimate place, come early since it’s first serve first come basis. Service is very quick even though there’s only 1 bartender made the drink.

They have quite some apps/snacks/sandwiches to order. I ordered the Reuben panini with side cucumber salad that’s very refreshing. Super delicious, generous with the portion and very good corned beef.

For drinks I ordered 2 different drinks : the pick-me-up and low key from their signature cocktails. Completely polar opposite to each other. Pick-me-up is mezcal base, citrusy and refreshing while low key base is rum with milk, blueberry purse that taste deserty. Couldn’t be more happier

Absolutely loved this place!
The nachos were hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crisp, layered with real flavor (not just cheese overload), and loaded with fresh toppings. Unexpected star of the show! The cocktail menu was creative and a little wild—in the best way. I tried something totally out of the ordinary and it worked. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and definitely not your typical bar experience. Can’t wait to go back.
