Omely may look quite ordinary from the outside, but the food here has never disappointed me. Every dish feels authentic and made with care. I always love their Vietnamese pancake and “make your own roll” — they’re so fresh and fun to eat.
Today I tried the chicken pho and it was amazing — a lovely, comforting bowl that made me feel so much better while I’m unwell. My partner had the crispy noodles with chicken and vegetables, which was also delicious.
We also ordered the hot Vietnamese coffee — it was nice and strong, though I wish the serving size was a little bigger.
I highly recommend trying the Vietnamese pancake and salads too. Omely is definitely a great spot to visit for anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese food!
I ate here several times over these few days.
What I love is the Banh Xeo, deep fried pancake enveloping prawns, soya sprouts and prawns. The other dishes are the grilled chicken vermicelli and the pork chop with rice, though the pork could be done a tad dry.
This eatery garnishes the dishes with lots of vegetables.
Service is excellent.
Very reasonably priced. Portions are generous as well. Staff are attentive and helpful. Both inside and outside dining.
Eat in or take away available. Keep up the good work from a happy diner.
If you want real authentic food and an authentic experience, come here. Very fair prices and the food quality is exceptional. I recommend this place to residents and those visiting the convention centre. Skip those Viet chain places at Oasis or Pac Fair & make this place your first stop.
I had Chicken Pho and Pork spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee
Spring rolls were nice with the sauce
Almost everywhere comes with the normal sweet chilli
Mmm Pho was a very hearty gentle nice flavour beautiful soup
And super tender chicken
The noodle was half clear?!
It’s a little bit take time to drip coffee
It tasted deep thick and creamy
Not so sweet
I liked it
They are very affordable price still
I’m sure that I come back for more try other dishes
I’ve been here for a few years now.
I had Spicy beef noodle noodle (Bun Bo Hue) $13.9 and Pork ball skewers $6.9.
They are still cheaper than the other place
I love the spicy citrus flavor soup and silky noodle
Pork ball tasted good for beer
Waitress was not so friendly, a little bit disappointing
I’d love to try some more dishes next time
If you want to try something not very common at Viet restaurants try the Banh Xeo. Its description of “Vietnamese Pancake” doesn’t do it justice! Try it!
