If you are familiar with my reviews, you know that this is the kind of place I usually avoid, preferring some local joint instead. That said, this fast-casual FLA chain is worth a visit. Order a burger, tacos, or a bowl at the counter or have a seat for full service and sit back and relax in their cheery, corporate-beachy indoor space or shaded outdoor patio (waterfront, but on the wrong side of very busy US1). Good Happy Hour and daily drink specials ($3 Landsharks and $5 Margaritas as of this posting), as well as awesome Taco Tuesday and Burger and Brew Wednesday specials. May not become my go-to, but will definitely stop by again!

Stopped in for lunch, our first time, and it was DELICIOUS! The food was fresh and so good! The tacos were super full and had a lil crunch to them. Our service was quick and Jack made a mean margarita! We’re going back on Taco Tuesdays for the 2 taco, chips and drink deal for $8! Don’t skip Jimmy Hulas!!

Excellent and creative tacos. Fresh and nicely filled. The tortilla wraps also taste quite good. The tortilla chips were a little better than average, though not great. The guacamole was, by consensus of our seven people at the table, the worst any of us have had. It was bitter, lacked flavor, certainly lacked salt, and was made considerably worse by the addition of a lot of harsh raw red onions. I literally can’t remember having worse , guacamole, and we eat Mexican quite a bit as well as make our own.
Beverages pretty straightforward though I would note that the space coast Amber is not actually an Amber and had a very cheap lager beer taste. Finally, the service was really disappointing: we asked for water three times; we asked for water without ice, and when we finally got it, there was ice; we asked for a takeout container twice. All our drinks were empty without any offer from our young waitress, who seem to be struggling, even though she only had three tables. Oh yes, our orders were all confused, but eventually got straightened out.
All in all, the excellent tacos did not outweigh the otherwise subpar experience

Pet friendly patio (offering pup cups too). Take note if it’s cold there are No heaters, bring a blanket. Fun vibe and great place for pets and kids. Cornhole game is on the side lawn.

We stopped in for lunch at 11 on Saturday and had the best experience! The menu is huge and had plenty of options, all with lots of veggies which made me very happy. These aren’t dinky little tacos with nothing but lettuce on them. They are all unique and interesting and it was difficult to decide on three! They also had a special brunch menu with a few limited items that all looked fantastic. Husband ordered the chorizo burrito from the special brunch menu. He was very happy with it! I got three tacos. The big island, the Baja fish, and the chimichurri steak. All of them were very good, filled so much that you could barely hold it, sauce was tasty, and the veggies were all crunchy and fresh. We shared an order of sweet potato fries as well as the parmesan truffle fries, I was definitely more of a fan of the sweet potato but hubby liked the parmesan truffle butter so I guess depending on what you like, all the fries are good! Our server mircea was super friendly and a pleasure to chat with on our afternoon adventures. The restaurant was very clean, well decorated, and filled with good vibes. We loved loved loved the fact that they had snowboarding and surfing and interesting things on the TV that you actually want to watch, not just football or the news. They also have an outdoor seating area as well as the indoor air conditioned seating. This is a really great little spot and I think will be making it a regular stop! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a great new lunch spot with lots of options for the whole family.

Amazing tacos! My favorite is the Chimichurri one! The Mojo fries are also delicious! Such a great spot to relax, have a drink, and eat good food by the river.

Went for dinner at about 4:30pm on a Saturday. Very light crowd, but picked up considerably over time. Noise level did rise correspondingly, not overwhelming, but definitely noticeable.

Server was very attentive, and helpful with menu tips. Menu itself had quite a few options, despite being a single front / back page. Appreciated the section describing the various hot sauces.

I ordered the Baja Tacos with Blackened shrimp (pictured). Good taste, and went well with the associated sauce. Good portion size, and the chips were nice. Also had had a side of plantains, which were nicely cooked and lightly seasoned.

Good overall experience, no problems!

First off, let me say how much I absolutely LOVE Jimmy Hulas. Their Kingston tacos are out of this world and I get them every single time. Their queso, zucchini fries (these can be extremely soggy so be forewarned), and truffle parm fries are all awesome. I would consider myself a regular and order at least once a week here. Out of all the dozens of times I’ve visited, 3 times my tacos came with avocado when I always say no avocado. Not a huge deal. But, one time I received my tacos and they maybe had 2-3 pieces of chicken on each taco. Totally frustrating and disappointing experience. However, I did reach out and they comped my next meal and I was happy with that level of customer service.

But, the reason I’m knocking off a star is the staff and service. I checked my tacos and the chicken was a little skimpy on the third taco and I voiced this and idk who she is a manager or staff member but she literally snatched the box out of my hands and said “there’s a chicken portion we have to follow” like im an annoyance and i pissed her odd by POLITELY asking if I could get some more chicken. Like I screamed at her or something. She always has this attitude with me when I come in to pick up my order. Left a bitter taste in my mouth. I’m not the type of person to say “I’m a regular I should matter over anybody else”, but as someone who comes here once a week at least I don’t feel I should get the angry box snapping response from her. Some of the other staff members are short and rude as well. When I call to place my order they are snappy too. I forgot to ask a question because of her angrily grabbing the box (about rewards) and making me feel like I pissed her off.

Either way I love the food 100%, the staff not so much. Not every staff member is like this.

Going to preferences by saying I’m not really a big chain restaurant goer. Came in to Jimmy Hula‘s with open expectations. Had heard great things about them, want to check them out for myself. I had one Jimichuri soft taco and one street taco. Both of them were phenomenal. My wife especially loved the Cajun fried pickles. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of standards this place has, clean, beautiful atmosphere, Awesome decor, and the food is top-notch. Pricing was very comparable for the quality and quantity of portions.
