The convenience of Barnwood is fantastic, especially when staying at Great Wolf Lodge—but unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end.
We started with the crispy mozzarella sticks, which were anything but crispy. They were soft and underwhelming, lacking the texture you’d expect.
For my main course, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. There were literally four bites of chicken in the entire dish, topped with what felt like 10 pounds of fried onions. Ironically, the amount of onions should have been the amount of chicken. It was disappointing and poorly balanced.
My wife ordered the tomato soup, which was actually good—but it didn’t come with the crostinis that normally accompany it. We even asked ahead of time if they had them (because one time before they didn’t and that is what makes the soup) and were told yes. What arrived was a single piece of bread with a little cheese on top, which is not the same thing.
The kids’ chicken tenders were okay—nothing special, but acceptable.
Overall, while the location is convenient, the food quality and execution missed the mark.

exceeded our expectations based on reading past reviews. Had good meal and decent service from Carlito. after a Day in the waterpark, it was nice to be able to go someplace close for a nice meal with my family.

The floors were dirty first of all. Second of all there was like 2 servers. Took for ever to get greeted. When food came out, which took about 1 hour and 30 minute. 4/6 of our foods were wrong. But the rest of the foods were salads. But who can mess that up? It’s just a salad.

Not bad food but portions are very small. They made several mostakes in our order but it was fixed. It took long time to bring the foos and they served three out of four meals and we waited long time for the fourth meal.

A good restaurant compare to other Great Wolfe Lodge locations . We dine in twice here and liked everything we ordered. Basic restaurant food and nothing is super special that can be suggested, but mostly I really enjoyed their fried calamari.

Don’t bother with this place (inside the Great Wolf Lodge). Ordered several items and it was all expensive trash. Server was attentive, but the food is horrendous and expensive. Ordered a Medium steak and received it well done. Wasn’t in the mood to bark about it so I wolfed it and left. Will never return.

Food tasted good my burger was raw and was supposed to be medium well, my rice pilaf had blue plastic shreds in it will never eat from this place again $130 for the family to eat and everyone is still hungry after getting served sub par food.

Sorry to say food was not good. Food was over cooked and over priced. Service was not good as well. We sat at table for over 45min with dishes on table and no one to check on us. I’m going to say this experience sucked and save your money.. don’t eat here!

Like a really bad Applebee’s. Except 2.5 times more expensive. Just kind of a sad dining experience all around. My daughter said they have better hamburgers at her school cafeteria. I tried it, and yes it was like a gas-station hamburger.
