These guys opened like two days ago apparently and I noticed them even before that because they got a cool new sign and they’re RIGHT on my way to work. I got a medium butter paneer pizza and some samosas and let me tell you – you should have gotten food from them yesterday. You should pick up and go get something right now, actually.
This might be the best samosa I’ve ever had? To be fair, I’m allergic to SOMETHING that gives me white girl spice tolerance and they’re juuust on the edge of being too spicy for me (so if you like a lot of spice it might not be enough for you), but it’s flavorful and the pastry is perfectly flaky while remaining thick enough and structurally sound. I think I would love a sweet chutney option, but that’s a personal thing and it TOTALLY isn’t necessary – the two that they give you are both still super tasty.
As for the pizza: oh my god my car smells SO good now. The crust has a little bit of a bite on the bottom and is nicely thick, there’s just the right amount of toppings, and the sauce makes me excited to go back and try the butter chicken on its own! They have a lot of sauce options for the pizza, too, and I’m definitely excited to try more of them.
I got more than enough food for two people and it was about $30 USD, which is super reasonable, especially for food this good. I also noticed you can get pizza by the slice for the lunch special, which is always excellent – though $5 a slice is maybe a little expensive? Regardless, I’m absolutely going to be back, and soon. I pass by the sign all the time, so after seeing all these raving reviews I figured I should give it a try. I got a small paneer pizza with a bunch of toppings ($14) and an order of samosas ($5). Both came with sauces on the side. The samosas were amazing, so warm and comforting and filling! The pizza was likewise very good—the dough was fluffy and thick, and it was topped generously. My only complaint is that I wished I’d ordered it spicier, and maybe with a bit more sauce on the pizza itself! I felt that the price was fair for the portions, and will definitely be coming back to try their other offerings 🙂 VERY glad to be your neighbor!

Very exciting to have a new delicious and unique food option on the Speedway! Food was really good! Finally got to try this place tonight, and now can highly recommend. Can’t speak to the pizza, but the Indian food is fantastic. We got the lamb korma and the butter lamb, along with garlic naan. Both the korma and butter lamb are served with rice (in case you were wondering). My daughter and I both loved it. So delicious! And the portions are large! Highly recommend: go get some right now. We’ll be back for sure.

Star Pizza and Curry is truly a hidden gem. The place is small and easy to miss, but it is absolutely worth the visit. The pizza dough tasted incredibly fresh, and the toppings were flavorful and high quality. You can really tell that care goes into the ingredients.
The samosa was one of the best we have had. It was freshly made, crispy on the outside, and perfectly seasoned inside.
