I tried my best to give this place a fair shake. But the inconsistency in food from day-to-day is the reason for the rating. They literally served me raw avocados today. I have talked to the owner about this yet here we are again same inconsistency. I always pick my food up to go and it’s always a surprise what I am going to get when I get home to open the bag. Today it was an order of guacamole I had to throw out because it was disgusting. I say, tell people your out before you serve raw avocados.

Hidden GEM! This place is PHENOMENAL. Definitely my new place for Mexican. Authentic and DELICIOUS! We’ve come here many times and each time just YUM! Service is great, better atmosphere than a hole in the wall. The manager/owner is fantastic. Definitely go if you get a chance! You won’t regret it!

Very quick service and had my tacos within a couples of minutes.
Great flavor and texture to the chicken.
Boths sauces are on point with the red one being slightly hotter. Will definitely be back anytime I’m around town.

We have Taco Guy one to two times a week because they are absolutely delicious. My favorites are the steak tacos/burritos or steak nachos. Absolutely amazing. I can not believe they ever got a bad review.

Got a chorizo torta from here, super tasty didn’t take long to get my order drive thru was convenient as well. 5/5 will come again for sure.

We love the Taco Guy. they are the top rated Mexican restaurant in Buford but I am fairly sure it extends beyond that. We eat here literally every week. My favorite is the Steak Nachos while I catch up on the DW!

This is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had anywhere around here. It’s also very good. The tacos are simple and delicious, the steak torta is a great sandwich, the bread is light and wonderful. The burritos are huge and excellent. I’ve had the chance to try the bbq pork taco and the tamales when they have them and I also love them both. I enjoy everything I’ve had here such that I couldn’t pick a favorite. I order a taco and a burrito and a tamale or gordita every time I’m there since I want to eat everything, every time I’m here. Staff is always friendly. They have two salsas, the red one can pretty hot sometimes, so if you dont want it hot, get the green salsa.

I’d really been wanting to try this place out, but when I visited, the food was lacking flavor and everything seemed a little watered down. The guac and chips were really good though! It’s a cute local spot and although I dined in, the drive through option is nice!

I thought my girlfriend and I ordered chicken burritos. Apparently, we ordered rice and lettuce burritos. Are burritos had the smallest portion of chicken I’ve ever had in a burrito from anywhere. There was a gentleman in there who was politely saying, “ma’am?” To the lady as she was walking away after receiving his to go order. She turned around with a Snappy attitude asking what and he simply asked if the order came with chips. She said yes and as she turned around, my girlfriend made a face of surprise. When I asked her why she made that face, she told me the girl rolled her eyes at the guys question after she turned around.
We gave this place a second chance in hopes that trying different food from here would be better than the first time. As the first time we ordered quesadillas. My chicken quesadilla was very watered down and soggy. And my girlfriend’s beef or pork quesadilla (I dont remember which meat she had) was so salty that she couldn’t finish it. I took one bite of it and immediately had to drink water. It’s very unfortunate, as typically places like this have incredible food and beyond friendly staff
