First time ordering from Thai Elephant and we were disappointed. We ordered delivery the Saturday after Thanksgiving. For 5 of us, it cost 70 bucks, which was fine considering the size of our order.
The problem was three of us ordered noodle dishes, including pad thai, my fave. They were all flavorless, lacked sauce, had very little peanuts, hardly any scallions or egg, small amount of protein, and way too many bean sprouts. We were so disappointed.
The summer rolls were decent but the spring rolls were awful – all mesclan mix, one strip each of red pepper, carrot, and cucumber, all wrapped in a leathery rice wrapper. Ugh.
We couldn’t eat them.
Not good. Not sure we’ll try again.

One of the best pad thai I had in soooo long, I ordered tofu Pad thai with udon noodles extra udon noodles extra tofu and wow they taste so good that I would definitely come back and eat at this place again. The price can be pricey with all the extras but worth every single dime.

Seems the food would be fantastic— if it was correct…… after a few “do over” “to go” orders I needed to leave a review….. first order was “pad Thai”— more like “white noodle dry chicken”….. sad; chicken was as dry as canned chicken from a petrified chicken….. the Penang curry couldn’t decide if it wanted to be Texas Pete sauce with noodle— but let’s just say coconut milk = not included……

Flavor is included as long as you don’t get the “white noodle chicken”— or “Texas Pete with chicken and rice”—. No idea what’s happened to this place- but don’t waste your time OR money.

Please take away lomo saltado Peruvian stir fry off your website, you guys don’t know how to make it! As a Peruvian this was a poor representation and flavor! There was none I been food cat fished wish I could get my money back. In their website and DoorDash it shows a whole different picture vs what I actually got. WHERE ARE THE FRIES?!?? WHERE IS THE FLAVOR?!

Disappointed with the food and experience.
I was really looking forward to trying Thai Elephant, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations. The shrimp coconut soup was disappointing — it had only one shrimp and didn’t have much flavor. The chicken satay was also served cold. Hopefully, the restaurant can improve the quality and consistency, as the menu sounds wonderful and the place has potential.

Food is excellent. Yellow curry with pork has the unique yellow curry taste. Liked it so much. I can eat over and over again. Green curry with crispy chicken is excellent too!!! Can not expect more. Large portion size, so we took leftovers for dinner.
Recommend this place highly. Great people, great service. We generally like to eat Thai food. We know what the genuine Thai taste is. This food is nearly there. Again highly recommended. I would come again to taste other dishes….

Our first time back after a few years. So glad they are still there!!! A small space with no one but us dining in, but plenty of take-out going thru. Still serving great food that makes me do my happy food dance. Summer rolls are so refreshing! My son had Thai tea (YUM!), Dumplings and the Country Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken. I had Tom Yum Soup with Vegetables and and Yellow Curry with Vegetables. Everything had great flavor with right amount of spice.
And the vegetables were cooked just right and plenty of them, with just a little crunch-perfect! Our server was on top of it and friendly, taking the to talk to us even though he was busy. It is a great treasure to have in our neighborhood. The only disappointment was that the menu has gotten much smaller since we were there last and miss some of the dishes that were cut, but that make choosing what to order a little easier. Looking forward to going back!!

I miss thai food and not finding good options in Seattle. Found this place and was excited to check it out. Was not busy during lunch on Friday (norm?) And had not a great smell when you walked in. However, my waiter was very friendly and and the food was great!

We’ve been to many Thai restaurants in and around our area, this was our first time here and is now my favorite. I got Masaman curry with beef, my husband got Pad Satay Noodles and we got crab Rangoon and spring rolls. It was kind of expensive but I’d definitely go back.
