Very disappointed in the restaurant’s lack of attention to detail. Paid way too much $ to not get the meal I wanted. Driver was good, food was still hot.

Love the food and the service! Once you order, food usually comes out very fast, and I’ve never had a problem getting a table (even with large groups). I’ve enjoyed all the dishes I’ve tried, but I especially like the string beans, the double-cooked pork, and the spicy beef with flat noodles. It’s usually bustling on the weekend, but if you visit on a weekday, it’s much quieter.

A very traditional Sichuan Chinese restaurant. They have everything from specialty dishes with out-of-this-world spicy pork intestines, or chili pepper fried chicken. But they also have some of the American-Chinese staples like our kid’s favorite sesame chicken and pot stickers. We would highly recommend their deep fried pork ribs and stir fried potatoes shreds (not pictured)!
No wait time on a regular weekday but you might need to call and reserve on the busier college nights.

This is some of the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had on this hemisphere! It comes out fast, there are SO many delicious options, and are in generous portions. As others have mentioned, there is an 18% automatic gratuity fee, but I’ve never really minded. Genuinely my favorite restaurant in Lafayette and one of my favorites of all time!

Excellent food and great service. The tomato egg dish is a must-order—perfect consistency and goes great with rice. Highly recommend for a quick, authentic lunch or dinner.

Best Asian Restaurant in town. Since it opened, we visit it regularly and even celebrate birthdays in their function room. Food is 5-stars!

Peppercorns Kitchen is so good. Real Chinese flavors, tasty, and everything comes out fast. Portions are huge—definitely enough to share (or take leftovers). Every dish feels hearty and satisfying. Great place when you want filling, flavorful Chinese food without waiting forever.

Great customer service, flexibility, and overall the best l chinese food around West Lafayette in my opinion. Unlike other fast foods, this place isnt a fast food restaurant but more of an authentic Asian cuisine. I ordered the kungpao chicken and Beijing Duck with some friends and was very impressed and pleased with the tenderness and the hot soup. With service I find it great as waiters comes up and refills drinks often and asking “is everything alright” made me feel like I was being served in a fancy restaurant. The atmosphere is overall clean and spacious with the amount of tables there are.

Visited Peppercorns Kitchen – Lafayette and unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. We ordered the sweet and sour noodles and the cumin lamb. The sweet and sour noodles were very disappointing — it was mostly oil mixed with sweet and sour sauce and noodles, with very little depth of flavor. It just didn’t taste balanced at all.

The cumin lamb was half decent and had better flavor, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the meal. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.
