Who drives at 6am on a Saturday for 22minutes out of the way for a bite of breakfast? ♂️
It is not because I am a morning person or because I just got back home from across the pond and still adjusting to the time difference (thus waking up early everyday). It is because when you google “breakfast place open now” not many places pop up and not many have impressive reviews. The curiosity has got the best of me and alas here I am wrapping up my breakfast at Darrell’s.
Let me tell you: the place is simple, empty-ish (after all early morning on a weekend), however the food is delicious, prices are very reasonable and overall a definite “will come back” type of place.

Been here a couple times but this they allow a woman to walk in and sit down with her Weiner dog. She must come often because the waitresses knew her. She walk all over the restaurant with this dog in her arms. I personally find it unsanitary. I have dogs but never bring us side the restaurant, this will be my last time to Darrel’s I’ll go back to the cracker in Webster.

Had a great experience at Darrell’s Diner! The food was delicious, we had the ability to get breakfast as well as lunch. Classic food done right, and the service was friendly and welcoming. The dog décor throughout the diner — it gives the place so much personality. Definitely a place I’d happily come back to!

We ordered omelets, grits, potatoes and drinks. The omelets were delicious…as were the grits and potatoes. Service was fantastic, friendly, answered all of our questions and the food came out very quickly. As for atmosphere, the restaurant was clean as was the rest room. I would eat here again. Also, since they didn’t have GF toast they offered substitutions like the potatoes and tomatoes.

We visited this restaurant before attending an internment at Bushnell National Florida Cemetery. It was convenient and not too far away. All of the reviews looked good, so we had positive expectations.
It was not busy when we got there, but it certainly got busy afterwards! Our waitress was friendly and competent, helping everyone at all of her tables to the best of her ability. When we got our food, Husband’s was hot and mine was the right temperature.
Husband had the country fried steak on a bun and liked it. He did wish that it had more mayonnaise or was served without the bun and had white gravy. The onion rings were very good. I had the tuna salad on wheat bread with a side of coleslaw. I only ate some of the bread, because the tuna salad was good without it. The coleslaw was creamy and tasty.
The prices were extremely reasonable. There was only a slight up charge for credit cards, and we decided to use our credit card. Service was good. The food was good. When we are back in the area, we might just come here again.

Food was great. We had a Philly cheesesteak. Our waitress was sweeping the floor beside us and when we asked that she sweep the other areas while we ate, her response was that the other areas had already been swept. No one should sweep in a restaurant while you are eating. Why is this even a discussion?

Excellent place for breakfast. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Both our meals were perfect. Grits were delicious as well as the pancakes. Hubby liked the chili omelette.

Me and the family stopped In For breakfast and we all loved what we got. It was a busy Sunday morning, and took a little longer than expected but not even unreasonable considering that it was packed. Great food and great service. We love Darrell’s.

Down home good restaurant for a nice breakfast. Our waitress was attentive and we enjoyed the food. There is a little wait on the food to come out but provides just enough time for table conversation so not too bad.
