Service was a five. This is a hometown kind of place.

Salsa was good and a bit different. Maybe a bit of chili powder???

Our table ordered the lunch specials: taco salad, chimichanga, and enchiladas. The two ordering the chimichanga and enchiladas loved their meals. My taco salad was OK. Just know there’s a lot of refried beans and queso on it. Guacamole was fantastic! Totally and definitely homemade!!!!

I would definitely eat here again.

They have wonderful breakfast options and who doesn’t love breakfast ? They have a cute little diner and it’s very clean! Great people and great service! Not a lot of choices to eat out here in town, but grateful for this one!

This used to be such a good restaurant, would order the chili relleno multiple times a week, then he just quit making it. Not long after, my elderly father who faithfully eats the tamale dinner was disappointed with “no tamales available” we repeatedly went there and about the fourth time the owner promised my father, face to face he would have them the following week, and that he would get a free meal for his troubles. It’s been a few months. Still no tamales, no chili relleno, even though we still returned a few times after, and would have been more than willing to pay, only excuses were made by the owner, who showed no signs of caring or remorse and offered no apology, only a simple shrug, to which we walked out and will never return. Absolutely terrible establishment.

Nasty food! I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but for 6 bucks my kid got one Nasty corn dog. My wife’s
Quesadilla about made her puke, and it was eleven bucks. The burger was okay. It’s pretty much another garbage dinner in another garbage town, which is pretty much most of Oklahoma.

Everything is fresh. Salsa is great, the best around. Ground beef is seasoned, perfect. Great service.

jj’s is the current incarnation of the old javier’s. thank you God for rerurning a mexican style resturant to hominy, where one can eat without feeling guilty. it is both incredibly delicious and quite affordable. the $10 dollar lunch specials arw served quickly, hot, and just perfect. even a profoundly hungry man may find more food on his plate than he can eat!

there is another mexican style place in town, but i will absolutely refuse any food from there. i won’ t support any place owned, or anything cooked by the hands of a man or woman more clotted with sin than my own. if you knew me, you would be staggered by what you just read.

you want good food without the taste of sin? go to j.j.’s grill.

p.s.
the term of the day is “affirmative defense.” just saying.
