3/5 for the food. Although the food is okay the vibes here was phenomenal. The food was not that hot when it came and I felt like it was not fresh. Got the nilagang baka, beef steak, and liempo. Liempo was really good though

One of the few great Filipino restaurants here in Los Angeles area. The restaurant is located right in the middle of Panorama City.

Don’t be discouraged by the hustle and bustle of the busy Panorama City , once you step inside Bamboo Bistro, you’ll be greeted by cheerful staff and eventually taste the great food of the Philippines.

This is my first time in this place and I was not disappointed. Will definitely go back for more.

Service was typical of filipino restaurants.

If you come here on nights there’s entertainment and it’s basically a filipino party. Good food, Music, dancing, Karaoke, and drunk relatives.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and the food was a little pricey for the size BUT the flavor was worth it! We will definitely be coming here when we visit LA. We really enjoyed the food and entertainment and will be bringing friends next time.

Had high hopes for Bamboo Bistro after reading a lot of the great reviews, but unfortunately was sorely disappointed by the inattentive service (despite being literally the only dine-in party the entire time) and the mediocre food. Perhaps dinner service doesn’t match the quality of their more popular lunch buffet, but this experience certainly doesn’t leave me eager to return

More details: Came by for dinner as a party of two on a Sunday and were the only customers throughout our meal. This didn’t translate to attentive service though – our server was constantly on her phone or talking to friends and we had to repeatedly get up and flag her down for assistance. We ordered pancit canton and beef kare kare, both new to us dishes. The pancit was a bit too oily and salty for my taste, while the kare kare featured scant pieces of oxtail in a sauce that tasted like watered-down peanut butter, completely lacking depth or complexity. The kare kare appeared with a giant bowl of rice, which we barely made a dent in. To our surprise, when the bill arrived, we saw an extra charge for the rice —something we hadn’t ordered and that our server never mentioned would come with the kare kare or that it was an extra cost. When we raised the issue, she refused to acknowledge the oversight or remove the charge, which was incredibly frustrating.

From the inattentive service to the disappointing food to the extra fees, I can’t recommend Bamboo Bistro to others.

It’s been a several years since I was last ate here, I decided to check them out, I came here on a. Sunday brunch, there was no sign of the buffet prices ( there was the last time I was here)

Their buffet is still only on the weekends

Breakfast buffet $17.99
Lunch buffet $23.75

Their buffet is worth it if you are hungry.

The place is kept clean, the servers were friendly and professional, the place was packed with families

I went there on one Saturday for brunch, and it was so crowded. It happened to have an event or something on that day. Lining up for 20 25 mins and waiting for another 10 mins on the food line. The arrangement was all messed up as the people were crossing with each other at the food line. However, the Filipino food they offered was good, and it is worth the price. Overall, it was just too many people in the small buffet like this

I’ve been killing for some pork adobo. This really hit the spot, it gives me a home feeling that I only get from friends home cooking.

I was bummed out that it was not all you can eat as advertised, only on the weekends. The waiters were kind and welcoming. They did give an odd feeling because we are from a different ethnicity.

I ce they realized we loved the culture and food, the environment changed and even started conversation.

We ordered fried chicken for the kids and they loved it, it isn’t Popeyes quality but more home made fried. It still has a decently good flavor.

We will be coming in again and trying different menu items.

If you’re anything like me and enjoy spicy. Not much spicy food is offered and not much hot sauce. Otherwise, give it a shot and enjoy!

No Buffett during our visit. All was a la carte menu. The Crispy Pata is what we enjoyed the most but they only offered the Large order at the time. It was perfectly Crispy as it should be and the flavor was great. The Bangus Sinigang was also great tasting but I got annoyed with the Scales on the fish was left on which I had to avoid consuming the skin. The soup is perfectly Sour seasoned. Their Liempo was a too sweet and had to breakdown the sweetness by dipping into the vinegar sauce. I’ve had better. We didn’t really care much with the Adobong Sitaw. It didn’t meet our expectations.
Restrooms were clean and also includes a Tabo by the commode.
