This place is great! I got a Chai Latte and the Italian – delicious – and they even put a cinnamon stick in the chai. Most places don’t do that and it makes such a difference! My friend got an iced Matcha which I tried, and it was also very good. Thank you Jessica! We chatted it up with Laurel too and she told us about the open mic, there’s a recording studio in the back, and there’s even events taking place like a comedy show soon. I came in for lunch and a drink and ended up staying for a couple hours listening to Joel rock out on the mic. Dude you crushed it and I felt so inspired listening to you. If you’re thinking should I go? Should I try a different place? The answer is go to Kitchen Rockstar. Can’t say enough good things! I’m excited to go back. Rock on!

Great NEW place to get coffee! If you love rock or just music in general, this is a great place to go. They sell all kinds of stuff, not just coffee drinks. The gentleman who owns the place with his fiancée is very nice and is welcoming to every customer. The signature drink I got was delicious and the spacious seating area is nice and cozy. We sat on the couch and relaxed while enjoying a nice drink.

This is a very nice, new coffee shop in Portage Lakes. The coffee is smooth and has a nice flavor. I had the medium roast – sound check and my husband had the mic drop – the dark roast. It’s nicely decorated and has a fun, laid back atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. Our medium size black coffees were under $3 each.

Rob was super friendly, spoke for a little bit. You gave me some recommendations on food there. The breakfast sandwich there is literally the best I’ve had around. You cannot find a better deal as well, will be coming back for sure. Banana bread and zucchini bread. We’re also pretty awesome!

Stopped by for the first time today. At 11am on A Sunday. The coffee was solid, the cheese danish was the best I’ve ever had and the atmosphere is wonderful. We are lucky to have this new place close to home. I can see us becoming regulars.

Just went here for the first time today and will definitely be going back. Coffee is fantastic!! Breakfast sandwich was sooo good!! The people working there are so nice and willing to accommodate. Great atmosphere and if you are in the area you should consider this your new coffee place!! I love my Starbucks, but this was even better and I get to shop locally!!! Win win!!
