Located within Prickly Pear Plaza, Stumblina’s Cantina invites visitors to step back in time and enjoy an American twist on Southwestern food and drinks while taking in the stunning views of the famous Black Mountain. The western-style bar and restaurant is set in a romantic atmosphere that takes diners back to a bygone era where they can belly on up to the bar for a craft beer, cocktail or savor a glass of wine. Stumblina’s Cantina features plenty of seating in its cozy dining room as well as on its outside deck. Appetizers include battered and deep-fried poblano peppers and cauliflower florets while coursed include a host of tacos, burgers, sandwiches, steak, soup and salad options. Quaint little bar style cantina nestled in cave creek mountains with the small town feel. We enjoyed the food. Each dish we had was tasty. Nothing was a standout favorite. I would bring company here for the novelty, but not a place I would frequent for cravings. Try this place, you wont be disappointed

Wasn’t planning on eating here but a friend was hungry so we figured why not. I was in shock when I saw it had 4.2 stars after eating the food! Every thing we ordered was great and the old fashion I had was on another level!! Our server was Elizabeth who was amazing! She was so accommodating for my best friends autistic son and she never missed a beat, always had a full drink even though I never got it below 3/4 empty.

It’s definitely worth coming to check out! The inside is very cool and looks like a true western saloon. Nice size outdoor patio with shade as well.
The food was good! Would absolutely recommend the Miss Kitty Chicken Sandwich w/ the Prickly Pear Cactus nectar. Delicious! Portions were good sizes, too. Overall, the menu looked really good!
Ordered their Prickly Pear Margherita, and it was fine. Small compared to other places but tasted great.

Well.. we were looking for a restaurant we have not been to before in Cave Creek and “Stumbled” into Stumblina’s. A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming . Our server Sydney greeted us with a smile and was pleasant and fun. She was great. We landed on a Tuesday and took advantage of the Taco Tuesday special for $10 (3 giant tacos) and $5.00 Margherita were fantastic. We highly recommend this eating establishment.

I’ve been going here for about 4 years now and always loved it although my last visit was not so good. I took some friends here the other evening telling them they would live it. When everything came out it was a total disappointment. The burgers which are usually in my opinion the best in town came out mushy and barley warm. The service I noticed this time was a little bit slow and took much longer then usual coming out. I’m kind of wonder if they have a new cook and in time it will get back to normal. I should have asked although being with friends I didn’t want to create bad evening for everyone. I’m hoping that the owner will respond to this review with some reassurance things will in fact get back to normal.

I LOVE this place! Get the quick draw fries, shredded chicken tacos, and a margarita. They are the best! (I only got a picture of my last taco because they’re so good I couldn’t wait!) I wish I could go here every day! Also, the service is great! We had a couple different servers and they were all so much fun.

I’m giving this place four stars based on the physical aspects – not on the food. So let’s start with the food…i’ts nothing special. It’s OK but not even up to the standards of the local bars. It isn’t bad, and you might well enjoy your meal, but it is far from special. Liquid cheese on the nachos, there is no excuse for being cheap like that. But enough on the food, it is the patio that really stands out. Easily the best patio on the strip, and if you can score a table along the rail I suggest you hang there and enjoy the fine drinks, because they do have a good bar and staff. Best views for just watching the world go by. You sit up above the road level and can see things for a good distance. The staff is super nice and friendly, and they are very attentive. The interior is nice and you will be comfortable there, but I wouldn’t call it a destination if you plan on sitting inside. Parking is out back and is not generous so you might have to walk on a busy day. This place is very newish, very clean, well maintained and overall would be five stars if they matched the food to the environment. Check it out!
