The food is decent, but the restaurant is loud and the staff can leave you waiting. While our waitress was super nice, it took us close to 20 minutes to flag her down to get our check. I really enjoyed the burrito loco – it’s fried and covered in a couple of different sauces. Ask for the spicy salsa. It’s fantastic.

I don’t know if it’s a hit or miss with service; but, I always get the miss. I’ve been here multiple times and service is always terrible. I get seated pretty quickly, but wait for 15 minutes before a server even approaches us. Mind you, multiple workers look at the table and do nothing. The food is decent, not terrible. I just wish the servers would know what table is theirs and when they have a customer. That’s just to be initially seen! Throughout the meal is was like prying teeth getting attention for another drink. If I ever come back I’ll order my water two at a time. Terrible service!!!!!!!!!!!

Got take out, which I immediately regretted when I entered this place. It is gorgeous inside; I should have sat down to eat. I got the lunch chicken fajitas. It was served with a very large portion of rice and beans, which I am not complaining because I love rice and beans. The fajitas were fresh, and the best I have ever tasted. The service was also excellent. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who immediately got my food, and took my card. I can’t wait to take my husband back and dine in.

The staff had rump shaking music so loud that the waitress couldn’t hear us when we asked if they would turn it down. They lowered the music a little bit and put on more appropriate music for a Mexican restaurant. They messed up our order all 3X we’ve been there. The prices are too high. At lunch time on a Sunday, the place should be packed but it was nearly empty. Giving them a little, credit, the food did get better from the time they opened but they just can’t seem to get it together. I certainly wouldn’t bring my parents there and I’m not going to waste any more time or money in this restaurant.

I love this restaurant. I am amazed that it has gotten bad reviews. I have eaten here about four times over the past three months. The food has always been great and the service staff very attentive and friendly. The food is tasty, hot and has always been served promptly. The prices are not extreme for the portions and quality you are getting. I will keep going back and highly recommend the place to anyone interested in pretty authentic Mexican food and a good atmosphere.

We went to this horrible restaurant last week, there was eight to ten tables with customers when we arrived. My boyfriend ordered a shot which was very small and too pricey. We order our food and waited for 45 minutes and the food wasn’t ready. We noticed that other customers came to the restaurant after us and they got their food first. We decided to leave without eating. The waitress came and said that the food was ready, we waited and no food. We left the money for the drinks and when we were leaving the manager decided to show up and said that the food was ready and blamed the cooks. He never apologized or offered anything. Bad service, waitress mess up our order, and the AC was off and the music was extremely loud. Never going to this restaurant again. What a waist of a beautiful place.

The food is good, they are minor changes I would do like find better flower tortillas and a better source of steak, the rice is bland and the kids chicken quesadilla had onions and tomatoes which is a big killer for the kiddos. My shrimp was good and the chips and salsa are awesome, and overall food was fresh. Clean and good service we got Judith from Colombia and she was very sweet last. We’ll definitely comeback to try the rest of the menu

This place was horrible especially for the price. (2 adults and two small children was $45) My tamale was all corn mush and no meat and raw. my chile relleno (sp) was slimy and soupy. my Enchilada and rice had no flavor. My husband got the Loco burrito and I tried a bite of that too. the ground beef tasted like there was no seasoning at all, and it was so greasy like they didn’t drain the meat. My husband became physically ill (throwing up) 30 minutes after we ate there.

the service was just as bad. the place was not busy at all (maybe 4 to 5 tables) and our waitress didn’t really come check on us. we waited approximately 10 minutes to get our drinks refilled and that was after asking the hostess. our waitress didn’t ask us how our food was either. even when she noticed that I didn’t hardly touch my food she didn’t ask.

I strongly suggest a different restaurant of you want good mexican food… or at least if you don’t want food poisoning.

Excellent service, the food was fresh and Fabulous. …This is the most authentic Mexican Restaurant in the Riverview, Brandon and Valrico area. Food, Drinks, Dip, Band, Staff and atmosphere made you feel like you were in Mexico…. I look forward to coming back again…. Highly Recommended…..

I had the chimichanga, flauta, and tamale platter, my friend had the chicken quesadilla. The tamale was nothing but corn meal and two very small pieces of pork. The corn meal to pork ratio was all wrong and there was almost no flavor to it. I dont know how to make a chimichanga taste bad, but they managed to do it just fine. The chicken quesadilla wasnt sufficiently grilled and thus was a soupy mess. The beans and rice were strongly lacking flavor too. All of this and negligible service too? Im never going back.
