I went on a weekday dinner and, thankfully, it wasn’t too crowded. The atmosphere inside is a bit dark, but the overall experience is great. Ordering is simple and modern—you handle everything through a tablet at your table, which makes the process very easy.
The incredible food quality combined with the BYOB setup makes this place a top-tier choice. Highly recommend checking it out!
We ordered the full Peking Duck, a fish, and steamed egg. Nothing came out hot. The fish only remained hot due to the tea candle underneath.
Taste wise, the egg was okay. I did ask for the truffle to be on the side, but they totally didn’t bring it out. I did enjoy the fish. The taste was very good and I do love the way they cut it. There were scales that were still present , but not a lot. The rice was hard. Perfect for fried rice the next day, but not so much present day. i had to soak it in the egg and fish sauce for it to be edible.
The duck again was warm to cool. I also swear that there should be more meat from a whole duck and not just one plate. No way is that a whole duck! Unsure what the pineapples were for as well as the sugar.
I then saw someone (not the chef) wheel out a duck to carve table side. Not sure what they did to deserve that as we ordered a full one. Would have loved the show and the flame thrower they use would have been great to warm up the duck some more.
This place is expensive, so be prepared.
Ordered peaking duck, dongpo pork belly, dan dan noodle, mapo tofu, stir-fried Chinese eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, and soup dumplings.
Foods were amazing. Not too salty, not too spicy, but authentic. Really enjoyed food. Specially Dan Dan noodle and eggplant was amazing.
Definitely will visit again. Highly recommend.
I can’t believe such an amazing Chinese restaurant has opened in New Jersey. I had delicious Peking duck for the first time in a long while, and it was fantastic. At $99 per duck, it’s definitely pricey, but the flavor makes it worth it.
The other dishes were also incredibly tasty, and the restaurant has a modern, upscale atmosphere—perfect for hosting guests or celebrating a special occasion.
This isn’t your typical Chinese restaurant — there’s no lo mein, spare ribs, or General Tso’s here. Instead, the menu features a creative mix of Chinese and Asian fusion dishes that are beautifully plated and full of flavor. Each entrée is presented piping hot, either on a sizzling plate or over an open flame, so your food stays hot from the first bite right down to the last.
Ordering is done from a tablet at your table, which gives the experience a modern, almost futuristic feel. The restaurant itself feels upscale, with a clean, contemporary design and staff who strike the perfect balance between professional and welcoming.
Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the presentation and quality justify the splurge. The only thing missing is a liquor license, so for now you’ll have to enjoy your meal without a cocktail or glass of wine — but honestly, the food brings enough heat on its own.
Overall, this new spot is a must-try for anyone looking for something fresh, flavorful, and far from ordinary.
