I stopped by Spartan Gyro for the first time and overall had a really good experience, so I’m giving it a solid 4 stars. The service and location were both excellent. The place is spotless and the staff was genuinely kind and helpful. The person at the register answered my questions and helped guide my order, which I appreciated.
For entrées, I ordered the lemon chicken with potatoes and salad, and my friend got the pork skewers with fries and salad. We also shared hummus as an appetizer, and I decided to try the newly introduced octopus as well.
Food Breakdown:
• Lemon Chicken: Juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly. The potatoes were delicious and paired really well with the chicken.
• Pork Skewers: These missed the mark for me. Very salty with a noticeable oily aftertaste.
• Fries: Crispy, fresh, not oily at all.
• Hummus: The highlight of the meal. Tasted homemade, rich, and super fresh.
• Salad: Good flavor but a bit heavy on the dressing to the point where it felt more saucy than lightly coated.
• Octopus: This one I would skip next time. It was extremely tough and chewy, and the flavor didn’t land. The potatoes that came with it were tasty though, with a nice light fried touch and lemon finish.
All in all, we still enjoyed our visit. We did not end up finishing the pork skewers or the octopus, but the chicken, fries, potatoes, hummus, service and cleanliness made the experience positive. It could have been an off day on a couple of items, so I still recommend visiting with an open mind.

Cute, bright establishment with a good menu selection/variety of Greek dishes. Good, big Portion sizes and food was pretty good, nice selection of drinks as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the baklava. It was dry and had a cinnamon sugar water drizzle instead of the honey I’m used to. Also had cinnamon and powder sugar drizzled all over (that was weird for me, tasted good but the baklava itself didn’t, didn’t seem fresh and was not moist to include the nuts) other than that, good experience. Staff is friendly and attentive, it’s clean too. The tzatziki sauce was really good. The meat and veggies had a nice grilled taste. The Greek dressing could be more tangy/stronger The bowls are huge!!!

Overall, I’d give Spartan Gyros a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The quality of the food and the service were excellent, but the sauce situation needs improvement. I would definitely consider returning if they were more generous with their Tzatziki or didn’t charge for a reasonable extra portion. Fingers crossed for next time!”

My second time going and it was just as good as the first time. I had the chicken gyro lunch special. The fries are amazing and some of the best I’ve ever had. Reasonably priced. Two lunch specials with drinks for less than $30. Place is always clean. And of course they always have delicious sweet treats.

The flavors are spot-on! Everything is incredibly fresh. I really loved the lentil soup! However, I would highly recommend to the restaurant slice the meat in the beef gyro, as it’s hard to bite because it’s served in big chunks. If that wasn’t the case, I’d give this place a 5-star rating.

First time at Spartan. Good good food. What I enjoyed most of our overall experience was that you can taste the freshness in the food. Delicious gyros and bomb Greek fries. Excited to come back and try other dishes.

Update: 1-26-26 Gyro lunch special with a Greek salad.
Excellent food and service. My go to restaurant when I’m in Weston.

Ordered a gyro pita. The pita itself was hard/stale. It came absolutely loaded with lettuce, onion, cucumber and tomato (even though I asked for no tomato) but there was hardly any gyro meat on it, maybe 3 oz. if were to estimate. Also, since they decided to put so little meat and fill it up with toppings instead, the meat became cold almost immediately after taking my first bite.
This was probably the most pathetic gyro I’ve ever had. You could honestly go to Arby’s and get a better gyro for half the price.
Edit: I forgot to mention that while I was waiting for my order I caught a whiff of something spoiled. Similar to the smell of a restaurant dumpster.

This is a hidden gem as it sits in the very back of a shopping center off Weston Rd and Griffin just west of I-75. Food is always hot and fresh with plentiful servings (see pictures). We had the Gyro Salad, Gyro Platter and Chicken Souvlaki Platter. Food came out piping hot and the salad was fresh and crisp with a delicious greek style dressing. The sweet potato fries were salty, crispy and tender inside. Gyro meat was moist and servings were generous. Convenient counter order and then they bring you the food with self service drinks. Staff is always friendly and helpful in answering any questions. Menu has lots of options, but not overwhelming and you can make your own combo for a nice variety. We’ve been during the week for lunch and on Sunday for dinner with no change in the quality of food or service. Recommend for anyone that enjoys greek food in a casual environment that is clean and welcoming. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
