Food was better than expected, portions were great and the food itself was delicious. The hand battered fries were well cooked with a nice crunch, and the burger with the jalapeno bun was fantastic. It was a little busy but the service was still good.

The food here is always really good but I was very disappointed with my To Go order today.
I ordered a chicken tortilla soup, salad and kids meal. I specifically asked how much chicken tortilla soup they give you to go, the girl showed me and said they fill the container about 3/4 full. When I got home with my food I opened the soup container and it was less than 1/2 full with basically no chicken and room temperature soup. The picture I attached is of the container of soup they gave me. It was a huge container with hardly any soup… just very disappointing. I did call the manager and she she offered to give me another container. I ran back up and she was very friendly. Also our santa fe chicken salad that advertised avocado had NO avocado. Its just sad that this restaurant that was so good is not still the same quality that it used to be. I would give it less stars but the food IS good and the servers are mostly friendly.

I love that smell when you walk into a real breakfast joint, food was good (nothing amazing but it does “hit the spot”). Like many other reviews the food was more lukewarm than hot, but it did not take long to get it (at 12:30 pm).

Quiet a variety of food selection. Pretty standard options so don’t expect something out of the ordinary which is not a bad thing. Large portion, so it’s good for the money value. Staff is very friendly and respectful. Its a small Christian family owned restaurant, which is good to go to instead of going to a large corporate chain restaurant. Helping the small business owners is better I think. Pretty simple, not much of a view. Decent sitting areas as well. Overall experience is 5 for food and 4 for the atmosphere. Family oriented for weekend’s breakfast. I like it.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Biscuits little on the hard side but it was almost lunchtime when i arrived for breakfast. Best chicken fried steak I have had in a very long time and I did search for best and biggest chicken fried steak for almost a year during my 20s. Black eyed pea biggest and lone star cafe best. So I know a good chicken fried steak. Hit the spot has a very good one. Little slow but no one seems to notice since everyone always in there phones anyway. Would have gave 5 stars but biscuits where hard, waitress went on break or left after taking our order. Had to get up and go find someone to get my refills and syrup etc.

So, my reviews usually consists of how does the food taste, what is the Ambiance like, & how is the service. I have been going to HTS since they opened ( we go about once a month some more some less shut average) and I must say yes the food is always tasty, yes the atmosphere is what you would expect from a “Southern Comfort Restaurant”, and yes the service is excellent!
I also want to add, the customers are always happy & the employees are always happy! This place embodies “family” & when you walk in you just leave everything else outside and enjoy that moment!
