Located inside Central New York’s popular Verona Beach State Park, our friendly Teddy’s Treats location takes great pride in providing a wide variety of quality food at reasonable prices. Our restaurant’s large menu include all your everyday favorites, plus typical fairground foods such as fried pickles and fried Oreos. To insure freshness the hot food on our menu is always cooked to order. For desert we have soft ice cream and a dozen flavors of premium quality hard ice cream. Add to that sundaes, milk shakes and even fried dough. Our large camp store section is well stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach, picnic area or campground. (See our website for information on vehicle access fees to enter the state park.)

We missed the food as they just closed when we biked in, but Teddy opened up so we could get bug spray! A true lifesaver! The menu looks amazing, so based on how friendly he was we will definitely be back. Verona Beach is a hidden gem in this area for sure!

This is such a hidden gem of a snack shack!! They have a big menu, the fries are battered and delish! All of the food we got was good! The prices were good. The service was amazing! The owner is so friendly and helpful. The store has lots of stuff you might have forgotten (sunscreen, toys, snacks, drinks). We always eat here when we go to the beach! Oh and get the pickles! They are amazing!!

True to it’s name… Teddy’s treats is just that, and not just because the fried Oreos were otherworldly. We are not usually carnival food people, but something told me that this was THE place.
I’m sharing here because this little treat shop + store was so impeccable and lovely and I think it is because it is run by the owners.
From the menu and the store front, to the kitchen and mini country store… impeccable and organized.
Part of me wished that we were camping nearby so that we could buy a bunch of fun camping necessities.
I noticed a man come out to wipe down the already clean counter and I asked, “Are you Teddy?” and it was!
I hope to return to try a few other treats on the menu like fried haddock and large fried dough! Teddy! You have turned me into a carnival food person!

We are currently here for dinner with our 3 kids. Teddys has enough options for picky eaters including tenders and fries, their burger special was delicious (per my husband), the pulled pork is to die for (per me… nice and flavorful with lots of sauce!). And the fries are wonderfully seasoned and crispy. The service was great, we were checked on during our visit to make sure everything was up to par, and the tables are nice and clean with umbrellas for shade! We highly recommend eating here on your Verona Beach adventures. We sure will be back. The prices were also extremely reasonable to feed a family of 5! Can’t beat that!

Teddy’s Treats was a treat itself! My husband and I went to Verona Beach yesterday and enjoyed ourselves some delicious chicken tenders, burger and fries! Teddy was so kind and hospitable, constantly checking on us and even offered our pup Neptune a little ice cream! My husband ordered a scrumptious caramel oatmeal cookie ice cream cone that topped off the visit! Not only did Teddy’s have great food, but also many cool items for a fun beach time! His wife was also very sweet and plan to visit them again today as well Highly recommend!!

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We ordered a hot dog, ribbon fries, 2 slushies and a milkshake and it took almost an hour for our order to come out. The hot dog came out then after 20 additional minutes we finally asked where the rest of our order was as it seemed it was forgotten. Once we had it all and sat down I took a sip of my milkshake and it was the wrong flavour. My wife had to go back and get it corrected. Next time we will just pack a picnic!

I brought my 7 yr old grandson to the beach last week. He was enjoying the splash pad more than the lake itself. However, the highlight of our visit was our LUNCH from Teddy’s Treats! His choice was the chicken tenders. Mine was a harder choice. I got the bacon cheeseburger. Fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, pickles on a huge Kiser bun! We shared a boat of ribbon fries. Actually brought some home. We are excited about returning for our next meal. Grandson wants cheeseburger I’m craving the fish sandwich. I will introduce him to the loaded ribbon fries!
Teddy’s used to run the concession stand and camp store at another local campground where ny entire family booked together every year. His menu was in our camper each year. We sure do miss him there. Now we have to prepare all of our meals ourselves lol.

We are staying in the campground. Went to their camp store just to get an ice coffee from the cooler. We were going to order food later in the day, since the campground is flooded and the outside temperature is in the 90s, we didn’t feel like cooking. There was a school field trip and a long line outdoors for food and ice cream. There were three kids in front of us waiting to check out with their purchases. I get it that the lady and young girl were slammed, but at least someone could have acknowledged us. They saw us but just kept ignoring all of us and kept going to the next person at the window. After waiting for a while, I gave up, put the drink back in the cooler and left.
