What luck to happen upon this wonderful place to have a delicious lamb chop dinner. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The personnel were attentive and service was great even as they got to a point of full capacity. A wonderful team working together to make my only regret is that I live 100 miles away.
I will definitely make this a go to stop on many future trips through that area. Conveniently located right off the interstate. Bonus fly shop next door I will have to visit as well.

Wow! We came here for Sunday brunch and it was phenomenal! Our server was super friendly and the food was outstanding. I had the eggs Benny and my husband had a bowl. We shared just one pancake at the recommendation of our server because they are huge. I don’t know if it’s my favorite pancake just because it’s more like an actual cake that is baked, so a bit different than the norm. It was pretty good though. I would love to come back again sometime when I’m back in the area. P.s. I loved their names of the kids items-very thoughtful and funny. Great job

I wanted to like this more than we did. Came in very hungry after a long day and didn’t get the chicken strings appetizer we ordered, or any mention of it every again. Husband’s fish and chips were good but mine was very late to come out? My shrimp Thai noodles were bundled up so tight i thought it was a sushi roll; it was so hard to eat. I should’ve got the hamburger.

Cody, please have a talk with your staff! My family has been in the restaurant, bar industry for many years and I own a geological firm. The food was outstanding, award winning! The gentleman at the bar was a tad cold and not very friendly? Never mentioned his name or how my day was going! The staff, gals don’t even look at you? They do not need to go out of there way, but a howdy and friendly smile goes a long way! I’ve lived in 19 different states and I eat out almost daily. The people of West Virginia are the nicest folks in the world and I didn’t even feel like I was in wild and wonderful (almost heaven) West Virginia! Tell your crew to loosen up!!

Good luck,

Thanks for getting back Chef: Everyone is entitled to an off day! Lord knows I have them. The staff wasn’t all that bad, possibly I’m a little spoiled. Like I said, “The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding & award winning!!” I will be back.

Wishing you and your staff all the best!!

When you walk in, it is really cold, that totally ruins the atmosphere right away. Service is mixed, some nice, some really not so nice and rude. I read the menu. Fusion, small and extremely expensive. At the end of the menu a note from the chef that in few words says that while other restaurants are heating pre-made packaged food, “we painstakingly butcher, make, grow, farm, & cook it all right here”. Many restaurants in the area serve amazing local food. No need to bash the competition. You are not a celebrity chef and not many people know you even exist outside your area. Food was ok, but a burger is not worth 20 bucks. The thing that was unacceptable was that every sauce you ordered was 75 cents. So let’s say you ordered a hamburger with french fries, the ketchup is 75 extra cents. You also want ranch? 75 extra cents. I never heard you have to pay for ketchup, not even in Europe! You can rip off the people that stay in the hotels around and that are not from the area. I will never be back and I will make sure to tell all my friends.

Great food, great service! Steak tips were seasoned perfectly and tender. Truffle fries are always good. Potstickers are also amazing. Looking forward to coming back and trying more menu items!

Only suggestions are to keep the inside a bit warmer, and some of our table’s food was colder than expected.

My husband and I attended the Valentine’s event at Cody’s, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The five course meal was absolutely amazing. It was not only delicious but also an amazing experience. We’ll be back!

We had been wanting to try Cody’s for sometime, but every time they had an event or such. Finally, we were able to experience their food and atmosphere. We came in on a Sunday and had their brunch. If the food from their brunch is replicated into their normal menu, I know it is going to be spectacular. My wife had the Salmon Benedict and I had the Truffle Shuffle Bowl. My wife said the Salmon was perfectly cooked and was so delicious. The flavors that were provided to me with the Truffle Shuffle were amazing. The filet/ribeye tips were perfectly cooked even without asking me how done I liked my meat. The house-made garlic aioli was so yummy. Every part of this bowl was so flavorful and filling. We also got a side order of pork belly. The pork belly was so good and well prepared.

They were packed, so we elected to sit at the bar which worked out. There is nothing that can be done about this, but because of how the bar is designed, the decorative wood at the edge of the bar makes it hard to eat. Just a small observation we had, but we were able to manage fine. It probably cuts down on food and trash making it’s way to the floor.

The staff was helpful and very friendly.

I would highly recommend you visit Cody’s if you are looking for a great culinary experience at an affordable rate.

Absolutely unique and phenomenal dining experience. Words cannot describe how pleased I am with Cody’s and it’s staff. This small, and unassuming looking establishment surprises on every level. Great atmosphere and art throughout the restaurant, with perfect lighting complementing it’s laid back feeling. The bar is fully loaded with every drink you would ever want, from high end whiskeys to fantastic wines and everything in between. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and accommodating, more than willing to chat about anything and everything to make you feel welcome and at home. They make sure to keep your drinks full and brought my food out very quickly. Lastly, and most importantly, the absolutely delicious treats and meals that fill the menu. I’ve visited Cody’s during brunch hours to enjoy breakfast bowels that leave me wanting more, during the afternoon to enjoy inspired tacos (accompanied by the most wonderful seasonal vegetables), and during the evening where the Hamburgers and chicken sandwiches stood out as delightful to someone who’s thought they’ve had it all. The pork belly is mind blowing, and the tiramisu is to die for. I am deeply saddened that I don’t have a Cody’s where I live, and will be planning to visit again. I cannot rate this establishment highly enough.

We placed online order for takeout tonight at 7pm. At 4pm our order was canceled due to them only doing eat in Valentine’s Day Reservations. Luckily I checked my email or I would have arrived expecting my order because they could not have the courtesy to call. I understand doing dine in only for Valentine’s Day but their ordering system should have been turned off prior. They argued that it was because they just opened but their hours state they were open 11-2pm today for brunch… and even if they were not open the system should have been turned off the night before to avoid this confusion. This is even more disappointing as this was our first experience with this establishment and we were really looking forward to trying it but I will now be very reluctant to try it in the future.
