Went there for the oysters and happy hour! Oysters were good. Out of Virginia was hoping for something locally. Shrimp were good well seasoned. Disappointed they had no chowder of any kind only French onion. Crab claws tried and there was really nothing in them. Service was good and the draft beer cheap at least for happy hour. Did provide my oyster fix so that was good! Went between 4-6 on Sat evening.

WOW — what an absolute blast!
The wife and I were hunting around Hilton Head to see where the live music was happening, and landing at Brother Shucker’s Bar & Grill turned out to be a perfect call.
We walked in and the band was already jamming — straight-up killer 80s and 90s hits — and the entire place was alive. People dancing, singing along, smiling… just pure good vibes everywhere. What better way to kick off the first day of the year?
The atmosphere is electric, the bar setup is awesome, and the staff? Next level. The bartenders were incredibly attentive — no waiting around, no chasing drinks. They remembered exactly what I was drinking, so every time I walked up, a fresh beer magically appeared. That kind of service makes a huge difference and really sets this place apart.
We ended up closing the place down at 2:00am and even hung out with the staff for a bit — great people, great energy, great night all around. Special shoutout the whole crew for making us feel so welcome.
If you’re coming to Hilton Head and want live music, a packed dance floor, fast drinks, and an all-around good time, this spot is a must.

Visiting Hilton Head and came here for dinner on a Saturday night. If you want to avoid the rush come between 3:30-5pm. Every single dish we ordered was tasty and fresh. Rodney and Brooks took such great care of us. Even treated us to a slice of key lime pie for our anniversary. Thanks to all the staff for a great dining experience!! A must try when in HH!

We went for trivia night with friends for our first visit. The music was overwhelmingly loud even though we were seated on the porch and we could not converse with friends. The trivia program was very slow, and probably needs two persons to manage to be able to tally faster. The food was fine and our server was efficient. We wanted to enjoy our friends as well as Trivia, and this did not work out for us.

They have a great oyster happy hour BUT the oysters are shucked ahead of time and were stored dry. We did not partake, though a lot of other patrons did. We ordered other food which was on happy hour including peel and eat shrimp, chicken tacos, and fried cheese curds. The happy hour drink prices were still pretty pricey at $3 for a miller lite bottle (would’ve been $6 not on happy hour). The food we ordered was great! The service was attentive! Friendly staff.

We booked a last-minute New Year’s trip from Charleston to Hilton Head and arrived later than expected. Almost everything was closed by 10pm, but Brother Shuckers popped up as a spot with live music and a kitchen open until midnight—huge win and worth noting.
There’s both bar and table service, and honestly, I went in expecting minimal table attention given the late hour and holiday crowd. I could not have been more wrong. Our server, Gary (only 18!), was hands-down one of the best servers we’ve had in years—even compared to Charleston. Attentive, professional, personable, and completely on top of everything.
My fiancé ordered the grouper entrée, and the amount of Brussels sprouts that came with it was impressive. I’m not even a Brussels fan, but these were perfectly crispy with just the right sweetness—absolutely delicious.
Halfway through dinner, the owner stopped by our table to check on us, which you just don’t see much anymore. It really shows this is a family-owned business that cares.
Between the service, food, late hours, and genuine hospitality, this will be our go-to spot every time we’re in Hilton Head.

We loved this place! We stopped after golf(heading for Riley’s which is under construction) and were surprised at how great this was. Amazing oysters, shrimp and interesting fries. We will be back! Best happy hour yet! Service terrific!

Nice down to earth local bar and grill… we had a blast… the bison burger was delicious … live band on Friday with your favorite 80s and 90s songs. They ran out of Oyster but is alright it was a holiday weekend… if you want to feel welcomed and you are an easy going person this is the place to be
