Eastport is not yet completely open but there is still plenty to see. I rode my bike down from the north end of The Villages and stopped in for a coffee. The coffee shop is in The Welcome Center and the coffee is excellent. I’ll be back.

My new go to place for Chinese food! After getting food around the area, this is my wife’s ONLY Chinese food she will eat, and I have to agree. The picture shows a chicken egg foo young lunch, a shrimp with mixed vegetables lunch and a house special meats lo mein lunch. Look at those portions! And these were all lunch specials so the total of the three meals with 3 soups included was only $31.00, of course we had lots of leftovers and I’m eating the soup as a meal by itself days later. But besides the large portions, the food was better too. The pork fried rice included with the meal had recognizable pieces of pork and several pieces of mixed vegetables in them, unlike other places nearby that have very small minced pieces of pork and no vegetables. The shrimp were plump and large, the egg foo young, and the lo mein were all delicious. I highly recommend Shanghai as your go to, to-go Chinese place.

This is my go-to place for dinner! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish tastes like it was made with care.
Delivery is quick, and the portions are generous — great value for the price. My favorite is the sesame chicken, beef with broccoli, or fried rice] — it’s absolutely delicious and never disappoints.
The staff are friendly and professional, and the restaurant keeps everything clean and well-packaged. Whether I dine in or order takeout, the quality is always top-notch. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great food and excellent service!

Went here at 2pm Dec . 30 ,2025 ordered sweets out chicken with egg roll. To go . Got home with food it was old reheated like from yesterday !! Egg roll was cold . Burnt from being reheated . This food was the nastiest Chinese food I’ve ever had. I threw it in the garbage. I called 5 times to speak to someone about the food they hung up on me every time. Food disgusting and owners disgusting!!don’t waste your time or money going to this place.

We are repeat customers. Have been for years. I order something different every-time. My husband not so much. Tonight was chicken Szechuan with white rice. If you like fried foods like my husband. Get the Pu pu platter.

Overall very good. Tasty food and large portions. Had to wait a bit during peak time, but understandable. Would come back again.

The pork and white rice, was not normal.More like cat, or dog meet. Foul and wild tasting!! Also,I bought Mei Fun noodles from them and they didn’t even fry the noodles. They just boiled them. There was no taste at all. Stay away. If you don’t want to waste your money!

I used to eat here at least twice a month. The last time was 6/5/23. The egg rolls are so different. No filling all dough and no flavor. Tasted like grease. The pork lo mein I had did not taste right also. The rice was good still. Did you changed your oil. I will try it one more time. So much better 2/6/24. Just seems like they got better ingredients again. Thanks

Usually I order thru Door Dash, but lately the food seemed to suck at best. So we decided to go to Shanghai and get our food…guess what…food is still horrible and the service is even worse. Noodles are still sticky…and you can’t get what you ask for. I don’t see how this place stays in business, unless it’s frequented by those who have never had GOOD Chinese food. My dogs will enjoy this garbage…thank God they’re not in the Lo-mein!

I am sad. Ordered the Hawaii FiveO meal and found the shrimp mushy, fatty pieces included of meat, meat was extremely difficult to chew. Previously it was great. Meat thin and not chewy, shrimp was edible, with no added mushy fat pieces included.
