Serving up authentic and delicious flavors at a very decent price range for a decent portion. The interior decor is also chill and provides a very good environment for eating and conversations. Server super friendly and nicer Would be back often!

Mae, literally “mum” in Thai, however, was adapted to be somehow whiter from mum’s flavor.

Pad Thai with shrimp: I was able to confirm the chef’s nice stir fry skill, since the Pad Thai was really full of wok-hei, while the extra big shrimps were bouncy. However, the kway-teow (flat rice noodles) itself was too thin that it nearly all stock together, causing a kind-of-soggy texture. The seasoning was a bit too sweet from an authentic one, but after all, here is America!!!

Dang oh dang , what a deal what a steal. I have never been so satisfied during my lunch break when I sat down and was presented with an amazing appetizer of crab rangoon which was then followed by drunken noodles . I love Thai food but man this Thai food was better than usual. The price on the other hand was amazing for the quality it provides. Mae is well located in Cambridge so take your next lunch break here, you won’t be disappointed .

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was above and beyond. Love the location near MIT. I’m picky about my pad kee mao, and this was spot on! The crab Rangoon was also really yummy! 10/10 recommend

I ordered the Pad Khee Mao and it was very well seasoned, the beef was tender, and it was mildly spicy but not too spicy. I had never had Pad Khee Mao before so I can’t make any comparisons, but of all the Thai food I’ve eaten, this was quite good. I would definitely come back.

We had an amazing dinner at Mae’s. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The restaurant looks a little run down but don’t let the appearance fool you. We ordered for 5 of us gyoza, Kah Moo, Drunken Crazy Noodles, Pad Krapow, cashew gai krob, house specialty red curry with duck. Gyoza filling was delicious. Kah Moo was interesting and a bit plain though perfectly fried, and the fried pork belly in pad krapow was delicious though a little different than what I had imagined. We had no left overs…just the right portions. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Food was amazing this is a must for anyone in the area. Please get a reservation just in case we saw people turned away. Feels like a small diner and you sit very close to other people but the food was well worth it!

During a recent business trip to Boston, my wife and I were in search of a restaurant offering Asian cuisine for dinner. Although our reservation was for 7:30 PM, we arrived early at 6:15 PM and were pleasantly surprised when the staff graciously accommodated us with a table for two ahead of schedule. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making for a comfortable dining experience.

For our meal, we started with the Crab Rangoon appetizer, followed by Bun Thom Thit and A Fat Kid At Heart as our main courses. The Crab Rangoon was quite rich, making it an ideal sharing dish for a group of 3 or 4. For smaller parties, the appetizer might be a bit too indulgent. While the main courses were not extraordinary, they offered a delightful fusion of Asian flavors adapted to Western tastes. This makes the restaurant an excellent choice for those looking to experience Asian cuisine with an American twist.

Although I am not a local and may not have the opportunity to return, I was impressed by both the food and the hospitality. The restaurant appears to be gaining popularity, as evidenced by the crowd waiting outside during our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

Excellent experience all around! It started with a very welcoming greeting and customer service experience. We enjoyed the drunken noodles and pad krapow which were the perfect sized portions and spice level. Service was quick and very friendly. The interior was cheerful and clean. We will definitely return.
