Such a great time! Loved the beautiful setting with beautiful design and plants all around. Loved the authentic and warm spirit of service the staff delivered and of course the food was full of flavor, carefully crafted and beautifully presented. I was also impressed with the vegetarian options. Don’t worry too much about it being an outdoor only restaurant! Each seat has a blanket available, heat lamps and fire places galore.

Had a reservation this past Saturday at Ka’Teen and loved every minute. Service was outstanding , our server Mey was great, friendly , funny and went above and beyond. Every dish was presented nicely and delicious. Mey was knowledgeable of the Menu and made sure to ask about and attend to any allergies. The ambience and atmosphere was great, dimly lit, music playing not too loudly. Drinks were amazing as well. Highly recommend Kateen

We had a wonderful experience at Ka’teen from the moment we were greeted at the front. Our server was friendly and caring, and took the time to thoughtfully walk us through the menu as it was our first time. We had a reservation so there was no wait in being seated. We appreciated being asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion, to which we responded “yes, it was my birthday”. There were plenty of thoughtful touches throughout, including the music, the lush tropical decor, and heaters and blankets because it was a chilly evening. My son looked at the photos and said it looked like Miami. My wife and I thought the place reminded us of Mexico City. The food was wonderfully vibrant and beautifully presented. Each dish tasted new to us, which is not something we often experience. The crab enchiladas were perfection. The vibe was so easygoing and friendly that we struck up conversations with the tables next to us, comparing our experiences, and considering what dishes we would order the next time we visit, which I expect will be very soon! Valet parking was $17 for about two hours, which is not unusual for this neighborhood.

I recently visited this restaurant in Los Angeles for an evening event, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. To start, the potato taquitos were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside with great flavor in every bite. The Caesar salad was also very tasty and fresh, with crisp greens and a well-balanced dressing that complemented the meal perfectly.

The atmosphere is one of the highlights of this place. The layout is inviting and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience from the moment you walk in. There is plenty of greenery throughout the space, which adds a refreshing and calming touch. It almost feels like you’ve stepped out of the busy city and into a more tranquil, stylish setting.

We attended an after-dinner event, and it was fantastic. The venue features live entertainment and dancers during dinner hours, creating a lively and memorable dining experience. Even though we came for the later event, the energy and ambiance were still amazing. The staff was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the entire visit even better.

Overall, this spot is a great choice for a fun night out, delicious food, and a unique atmosphere in Los Angeles.

Stopped in here on a whim and was rewarded by serendipity. The atmosphere drew me in – a glittering hideaway with an entrance of fairy lights. I was traveling alone and looking for a pleasant place where I could eat at the bar (rather than a table for one), and the hostess was very welcoming as were the bartender and barback. The food was delicious, the wine was cold, the music was lovely and did I mention the twinkle lights? Overall, it felt like an oasis for me after a long day of travel and work.

We had an amazing meal here! Making last-minute reservations was no problem, and we were seated right away. The service was top-notch—you’re well taken care of the whole time, and they genuinely want to make sure you’re happy. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s perfect for a date night, celebration, or special occasion. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was better than the last. The quality and execution of the food definitely make the premium prices worth it. The drinks were also really creative and delicious. If you can, I recommend going with a group to try as much as possible. It’s a great spot for a classy Mexican meal!

KA’TEEN is an absolute gem! Easily top 2 dining experiences I’ve had in my five years in L.A. The beauty and balance of flavors were just unreal. I had the ribeye tacos, huarache style, with a rich au jus and perfectly tangy and salty green salsa.

The papas ravas were the best potato dish I’ve ever had. Smoky, tangy chipotle aioli with what I presumed was a hint of tamarind. The corn esquite, with a coconut base, grilled corn was also phenomenal. Everything struck the perfect balance of salt, savory, citrus, and sweetness. 10/10 experience. Unforgettable.

Service was so-so, waiter could’ve been more attentive. Brought us our check before bringing us the dessert menu. The ambiance was next-level as well, think elevated Tulum-Rodeo vibes.
