I just had to come back!!!
This time I had a couple of margaritas and the Trio Fajita Platter. Outstanding, I wasn’t able to finish my food. But it was amazing my sever was super nice. He couldn’t have made this more pleasant warning his sombrero. If I lived in the area I’d be here at least once a week..
This place was excellent. I don’t say that about to many places. As I approached the glass front door my server was already walking to the front to greet me. It was only 11am so there was not to many people. The tex-mex taco plate was right on point. I even ordered an extra side of beans they were so good. The salsa almost as good as my. No just kidding it was awesome. I had a margarita, that turned into two. It was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place….
I arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, was sat around 7:20pm, and didn’t see my main food until 8:40pm.
Before getting sat, not a single person was able to even greet us or let us know that they’ll get us sat down soon while constantly walking past us and with several empty tables. We had a total guest count of 7 people. We were sat down with 3 utensils and 0 straws after getting our drinks (other tables were given straws). We saw other large families walk in, get sat after us, and leave before us. It was just unbelievable how long it took for us to get our food. We ordered some pretty ordinary things you get at a tex-mex restaurant. My brother ordered a simple fish taco (more than $4), just fish and tortilla, but what came out was the most embarrassing taco of tortilla and a tiny fish stick that you could find in the frozen section of the dollar store. One of my guests ordered the chile relleno and it was the saltiest thing we’ve ever tasted. All of this, while the total bill was over +$200… complete joke of a restaurant. Please do not go here and save your time, effort, energy, and money. I understand we might’ve come during a busy period, but other people received more timely service and it just needs to be better overall, especially for the price.
They also made sure to double check all our food allergies for us which was super comforting.
I will say multiple dishes and the salsa more than one of us thought were too salty. Besides that everything was great.
As an Anna local I really hope this place is thriving for years to come!
The salsa served with the chips tasted like it came straight from a can. It lacked freshness and flavor and was honestly disappointing from the start.
The street corn was clearly made from frozen corn — mushy, bland, and completely lacking seasoning. It was inedible.
The crispy rock shrimp taco was even more underwhelming: one shrimp, a single slice of avocado, and a pile of lettuce inside an oversized tortilla. It felt thrown together and poorly executed.
The flautas plate was especially disappointing at $16. Three small flautas cut in half, served with a very mediocre side salad and the smallest scoop of avocado imaginable. The portion and quality simply did not justify the price.
To the owners: have you tasted the food you’re serving? If this were my restaurant, I would be embarrassed to send these dishes out of the kitchen.
Also — as a side note — the plants by the windows appear to be overwatered. It may seem minor, but details matter when you’re trying to create a good dining experience.
We had high hopes, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
