I was on my way home from work and I stumbled across this food truck. All i can say is wow! First time trying Jamaican food and i definitely can say that i will be back again. I ordered the Jerk Pork w/ collard greens and rice & peas and it was delicious. We also ordered the Jerk ribs with the same sides and it was also super good! Also got an order of their baked beans on the side and they had so much flavor. There was a good amount of people there and the service was quick and very nice! If you’re looking for a hidden spot to get some good Jamaican food you definitely need to stop and check out this place out!!

I usually don’t do reviews but I was a bit disappointed with the oxtail dinner, the oxtails were very fatty and tough, the sweet potato had no touch of sweetness for flavor and the rice was also flavorless. This is my second visit the first time was great I ordered a jerk chicken plate personally that’s what I would recommend but overall service was great both times.

We ordered the jerk chicken with macaroni and cheese, plantains and a side of rice and Pease. First of the service was great no problems that. The food on the other hand wasn’t so great. As you can see in the picture what was good and what wasn’t. The chicken was good without the sauce, not sure if this was jerk or ginger sauce it was horrible, the BBQ sauce wasn’t to my personal liking due to the maple flavor in it. The macaroni was just as bad not sure if they should call that mac n cheese…the plantains was good but that’s effortless. Now for the RICE,rice is the staple of any meal and this so called peas and rice they have is not good at all! Even tried to add the jerk sauce and it was even worse I would eat plain white rice before I eat this nonsense. But if you want some good jerk chicken alone I’d say go

Food truck. BBQ was nice, the spicy sauce was really nice. The jerk chicken was flavorful but a little dry. The rice and peas was good. Plantains were sweet and soft. Cury goat was supper salty. The oxtail was tender and nice.

The Quick (a few words): King Jerk Food Truck is delicious, Jamaican/Caribbean-inspired, and located in North Miami. I ordered the Rib Lunch (Ribs, Cabbage, Red Beans, and Rice) and the Curry Chicken (Yellow Curry/Curry Chicken with Red Beans and Cabbage). The portions were great, and I will definitely be back.
The Dirty (a bunch of words): Look. This is food is better than good. The ribs were tender and juicy, but not soft. The sauces are perfect pairings and fully seasoned. Nothing watered down about King Jerk Food Truck at all. Their flavors are delicious. The plates are as beautiful as their service and accents. I was immediately happy I chose to eat here because of how I was greeted. I’d tried to make it here twice before and arrived just in time to see them putting away the clean dishes around 9:40pm both times. My mouth had watered ever since. When I finally got them ribs y’all. I couldn’t help but sing Montell Jordan, “This is how we do it.” I smacked my lips and laughed out loud. I’d needed this so bad. . I didn’t even tell my landlord about his plate. I ate the chicken too. ♀️. And mannnnnn. You have to eat here. That’s all.

If you’re ever in Miami and craving authentic Jamaican food, King Jerk is an absolute must-visit! Every time we come to Miami, this is one of our go-to spots — and for good reason. We’ve been here multiple times and the quality, flavor, and hospitality never disappoint.
We ordered the oxtail with rice and beans, with cabbage on the side, and it was nothing short of amazing. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender, rich in flavor, and seasoned to perfection. The gravy soaked beautifully into the rice and beans, making every bite packed with deliciousness. The cabbage was fresh and well-cooked, with just the right amount of crunch and seasoning to balance out the meal.
What really stands out about King Jerk is the consistency. Each visit, the food tastes just as incredible as the last — something that’s rare to find these days. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the vibe is chill and welcoming. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you’ll feel right at home.
If you love Caribbean food or simply want to try something flavorful and satisfying, don’t miss out on this gem. King Jerk is a place we’ll keep coming back to — every single time we’re in Miami!

This is my second time ordering from here on uber eats. First I ordered ribs, Mac and cheese, collard greens. Someone called me and said they don’t have anymore collard greens. She offered me baked beans, corn on the cob or plantain. I asked for baked beans. However, when my food arrived it included every side she offered! I got to try them all and my favorite were the baked beans!! The ribs! OMG!!! So good! Last night I ordered for the 2nd time, ribs, baked beans and collard greens. This time they had greens, 9/10! Really good! They also included a side of hot sauce. It tastes really good! Nice and spicy, possibly scotch bonnet. This restaurant is a must try!!!
