What a great winery, restaurant… and Airbnb. Wasn’t expecting such a relaxing and filled experience in Palisade in the winter. The food and pairings were amazing and the hosts/owners took their time to connect with us and make the experience feel more curated based on our preferences. Couldn’t have asked for more. Already planning a trip back in the summer to enjoy everything it has to offer.

I can’t say enough—loved it here and can’t wait to come back! I truly enjoyed the wine flight and being able to take a bottle home. I wish you were in Utah! I’ve tasted wine at many wineries, and usually I only love one out of four—but here, all four wines were incredible. Choosing just one to take home was so hard.
We hope to return in the summer to see the vineyard when everything is lush and green. We’ll be sure to bring you a bottle of Pisco!
Thank you so much,
Jose & Freyka

Perfect Anniversary trip October 2025

Nicholas and Holly have truly created a paradise. Their winery is a perfect blend of elegance, warmth, and passion. From the moment you arrive, you can feel their genuine dedication—not only to making exceptional wines but also taking great care of the property. We recommend staying in the “La Loft” located on sight at the Winery. They provide bikes to respectfully borrow, which is perfect for exploring beautiful Palisade.

The property itself is stunning: peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by an atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer with every glass. Nicholas and Holly are experts in both hospitality and winemaking; their knowledge and enthusiasm shine through in every tasting and conversation.

Their Winery is the only in Palisade with a full restaurant, polished off with a beautiful event venue and outdoor space.

The staff mirrors their same excellence—remarkably professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every detail, from the wine flights to the service, feels intentional and refined.

Whether you’re a seasoned oenophile or just beginning your wine journey, this place is the perfect escape. A visit here doesn’t just taste good—it feels good.

Beautiful afternoon with friends, a flight of red wines for them to sample, a yummy charcuterie board to share, and perfect weather on the patio at Maison La Belle. Only suggestion is to add something to cover the flight glasses (cheesecloth?muslin?) to keep fruit flies out of the wine!

The heart of this restaurant it’s Katie / Katy (no sure how to spell it) honestly she wasn’t even our server and she took such an amazing care of us (very friendly and accommodating with kids) she was on top of our tables at every second and one more time she was even our server! The server team it’s young but enthusiastic, for sure with the right training they will become the number one spot in the area. We will for sure come here couple more times before we leave to our next destination!

My partner and I stopped here for lunch on our anniversary trip. The waitress was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly. She helped me decide on which wines were best for my wine flight and knocked it out of the park with every recommendation! The food was delicious as well, which I generally don’t expect for a winery. They also make gluten-free macarons in house that are to die for! This place is a must-try!

Popped in late afternoon on a Tuesday after hiking. Promptly greeted and seated with a beautiful view of the mountains. Waitress right on time. My wife got the slushy sampler and a Greek chicken platter. Food was excellent! I got a cup of coffee (designated driver) which was nice as most wineries don’t offer that. We were checked on multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed the service, the view and the food. You could come just for those if you were not a wine fan. Highly recommend if you are in Grand Junction area.

What a wonderful, peaceful and enjoyable afternoon for a light lunch and a glass of wine. Tara sweet as ever and gave us some good pairing options with our food. There are many wineries to choose from. We were lucky here.

This place deserves ten out of five stars. I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll start with what sets them apart from literally every other place I’ve eaten in my life. I have some real stupid allergies (gluten and soy) and have found ordering food to be really hard given this. The owner is extremely kind and accommodating to allergy restrictions and goes the extra mile to double check ingredients. The menu has an extensive list of common allergens, which is also super helpful. It’s the first place I’ve ever eaten where they were kind and attentive to my food restrictions. If you have allergies, and have any anx about eating out…this place will change that for you.

Aside from this amazing quality, the food and service are phenomenal! We’ve eaten here many times and keep coming back. Highly recommend the salmon salad (soy and gluten free) and my partner loves the beef pastry puff.

As for the wine, if you like fruit forward, medium bodied red wines this is a go to. I prefer drier wines, so my go to is the rose when I’m here.

And, the atmosphere is amazing! The outdoor patio is lovely when it’s warm out and the inside is cozy and rustic for colder days.

I can’t say enough good things about this winery. It’s my go to everytime I’m in town!
