Casual Mexican chain serving a lengthy menu of classic dishes, plus margaritas, tequilas & beer.

Not a fan of the salsa and guacamole at this location—either it’s just hot, bland tomatoes with no veggies or it’s watery and flavorless. Definitely not worth it. The El Toro on Neil Street is way better! Always fresh, hot food with great flavor and excellent service. Highly recommend that location instead.

Nice Mexican restaurant with great food! I had the Baja Chicken and liked it very much. It’s a delicious combination of ingredients. Good portions, fresh chips and just right salsa. The salt level is a little low, but that’s everywhere now days; there’s a shaker on the table. I would love to experience better flatware as well, but the food was good enough I can live with it.

Ordered fish tacos. Big mistake, should have been called lettuce tacos with a speck of fish..tilapia is such an inexpensive fish, just can’t understand why they short change the main ingredient..rice and beans were flavorless…didn’t try anything else. So, beware if you order the fish tacos and don’t see any fish on them.

Pretty good food, A little pricey, but a very large filling portion. Incapable of giving fresh warm chips to go, however, after Asking for some. Idek why I asked Since I have an air fryer in my van, But it’s just the that concerns me

Apparently, they reuse any chips that are not eaten. The bowl I got of chips looked like it had been stepped on. Used food. How disgusting.
My burrito was disgusting drippy and wet.
I will never come back to this establishment again as it is unsanitary and disgusting. This place is rundown, even though it’s not even that old. Yuck.
I’ll just go to Fiesta Cafe and actually have good Mexican food. This place is the worst.

Along with everything else in this area, El Toro is newly constructed. It’s a nice clean place, providing a reliable dining experience. Chips and salsa are good, food is good, service is good.

De-li-cio-so! looks like a lot of medics eat here. this is also a fancy restaurant for a classy date .
2nd time: Had the flautas mexicanas. They were decent; the tacos de asada taste better in my opinion. The guacamole tastes good if you add salt to your taste.
3rd time 8-2-24: had the chicken soup. It had about 1/2 inch thick layer of oil floating on top, but it was easily removed with the spoon, other than that, it had good flavor and mixture of veggies.

I’m from Chicago so was skeptical going to a Mexican restaurant but this was a delicious meal. The beans and rice were tasty and the salsa was addicting. I had a steak burrito and it came with yummy sauce on top. Silvestre was my waiter and he was very nice and attentive.

The quesabirria tacos i got was soggy. Not at all what i expected. The meat wasnt really seasoned. The consume was like water it as well was tasteless. I would recommend La Mixteca for birria tacos. Also the service didnt make up for that dish either. HOWEVER my girlfriend enjoyed her dish which was a Acupollo.
