I love Smashburger but the last two times I’ve ordered from this location, it’s been wrong. I ordered through UberEats and when I called the store, they wanted me to contact my driver, who didn’t answer. The guy I spoke with on the phone couldn’t even use proper grammar and wasn’t helpful at all. So basically the cooks cannot read simple instructions for a burger that’s supposed to be only cheese and mustard. The burger wasn’t even cooked in the middle Never again.

Quality of food was great.
Cashier was helpful and competant.
Atmosphere was clean and open.
No annoying loud background music to compete with talking with my friends.
Fresh ingrediants.
Restrooms were clean
Everything from walking in to leaving was pleasant.
Example of how food places should be
when operating efficiently.
Utencils for my shake were spot free silverware.
So glad we chose to go here for Lunch.
Only criticism I can give is the burger size was but can’t really complain because it was the right amount of food to be satisfied not miserable.

Saltiest burger I’ve ever had, my wife had the regular size which looks like something you get for a child, I had the big size which looks like a normal size, both were so greasy and salty, not to mention loaded with mustard. They don’t even ask if you want mustard, the pub burger doesn’t say it comes with it either. For the price they’re just not worth it, they’re tiny. If you’re looking for a good burger, Denny’s burgers are still the best and biggest in Houston for the same price.

While I do like the food from Smash Burger this location has repeatedly shown how horribly managed it is. Just tonight, we pulled up at 9:25pm to order a quick to-go and per usual, the staff has not only put up chairs (which is fine really) but they have itentionally turned off all customer lights and open signage. The restaurant does not close until 10pm. This is always done a FULL HOUR BEFORE CLOSE when the average visit only lasts 25-30 minutes. If there was ever a message that your customers don’t matter and you have no respect for the hours your owners set, this is it. The photo below was taken at 9:27pm today after we decided it just wasn’t worth the attitude and scorn we have received in the past. During previous visits, we have witnessed unsanitary cleaning and staff inappropriate PDA at this location. From the opening of this location I have tried to make excuses about inexperience and lack of new hire training, but now it’s obvious that the management is the root of the issues, but I am done with this place.

Couldnt wait to try this place. Only location in the area.
Atmosphere is nice and bright.
Service is fast and welcoming.
Burgers are on the small size. Even the ‘big’ one is probably no bigger than 1/3 lb. Not much of a difference between a “smash” style burger and a typical cook to order fast casual burger.

Typical Customer
First time there. The burger was different and love the add it menu. Ordered the shake it was awesome. Bit over priced but for the difference in taste and style of fries it was an even out. The service was a tad slow but the meal equally cancelled the service so over all I would recommend it if you are tired of the regular burger joints this will satisfy your craving.

This place is awesome. Their burgers are always hot and delicious, sides always fresh. And they have great coupons that they give out every time you’re there. Honestly, puts other burger places at their price point (and many above) to shame.

The black bean burgers was good. We order online at the good was ready in less than 15 minutes. However, the food was luke warm at best and we live about 5 minutes away, maybe 10 in traffic (There was no traffic that day). If greasy food is not for you, then stay away. I know it’s a burger joint, but the grease leaked through the bag on to my girlfriend’s pants. Mind you, it was only a 5 minute drive. The restaurant looked clean and staff was certainly friendly and helpful. I’d go back, but only to fine in and fire to that fact it’s extremely close. Still beats a day food burger any day.
