I took my 6 STARVING children to Dairy Land; they were in CRITICAL condition with no shoes. Like an oasis in the desert, Dairy Land appeared on the horizon like our savior. They provided us the necessary sustenance with their delicacies such as the big fry and the double chubby. Dairyland changed our lives and it will change yours too. The town of Lander is protected under the watchful eye of Dairyland.

I was a starving child with no shoes on. I came with 5 other starving siblings and a single father (and a potential lesbian mother). This place made my family well fed. The dipped ice cream was drippy, the big fry with the chili an absolute banger. Happy 11th birthday Chris, sorry we missed it, we were simply too hungry to arrive on time.
Dairyland, forever, our savior.

The girl at counter was very nice and helpful. We ordered our food and sat down. Bathroom was clean. Dining area was clean. As I waited for our food I noticed another girl in the grill area vaping which was a huge negative. Our food was prepared and began to eat. The burgers were ok but the fries were rock hard. They were not burnt but just extremely hard and had no flavor. If the fries were better the food rating would have been closer to a four but the big negative was the vaping and fries.

It’s a cool looking place. It’s misleading. I needed a quick bite to eat. Thought this place would be good. It was extremely expensive for what I got. And like other people have said the service was very poor. The kids behind the counter were more interested in talking to each other than taking orders. Nobody else is in the place and they took forever to even take my order then 30 minutes to make 2 burgers. They patty was tiny and completely drenched in ketchup and mustard. Almost couldn’t eat it, had to wipe most of it off. If I wasn’t in a hurry and running late by then because they were so slow. I would have brought them back. I’d give them 1 star but the old drive in building was cool. I’m won’t be going back next time I am in Lander.

I got there at 6:45 p.m. and they asked me if I wanted it to go, and I said I’d like to stay in since I walked here from my hotel room. And they said we’re closing soon. (They close at 800pm ) I said fine after waiting 30 minutes for them to cook a cheeseburger some fries and make a milkshake, and $22 later I expected something half decent the burger was sloppily put together and the meat was very bland, and tasted cheap the Fry’s had the texture of packing peanuts, and the milk shake was mostly milk hardly any shake like if your gonna charge 8$ for a milkshake like make it at least half ice cream. I am sorely disappointed this was the worst dining experience I have had in a long time 100% do not recommend

So, its pretty rough esthetically, but the famous cheesewheel was fun to try. Its definitely good and is more like a fingersteak than anything cheese related, if you’re interested. Staff was on top of it, but the place as a whole is pretty run down.

Horrible place! Needs to be reported to the health department for poor food quality, and BBB for deceptive sales. As a first time customer, which seems to be the only customers probably funding this place, pay for order expecting safe cooked food with a reasonable wait time. The opposite will be your experience with no possibility of refund, or corrective actions. Being considered a rural establishment would usually be cause for pricing, but if you compare this place to other local specialty burger joints the poor quality ingredients suggest there is probably a sketchy story behind how this place is still open. Also, it is obvious fake reviews are being made at least once monthly to keep the status from dropping below 3 stars. Pretty easy to figure out considering all other reviews are 1 and 2 stars with the same disappointing outcomes.

Do NOT stop here.
My friends and I were driving through, saw the terrible reviews, but chose to stop and optimistically believe that the terrible reviews were just a few loud negative people. It was a mistake.
Want some fries? Better to just take a bite out of last night’s beer box.
Have you been feeling lonely lately? No problem. The 12 year old fry cook will lock eyes with you while he hits his vape and sits on a counter rather than actually making food.
Tired of your sassy, lethargic, and uninterested teenagers at home? Don’t come here. I asked the teenager at the front which burger was which in my order and got “I don’t know, I didn’t make them” as a response.
The burger? Painstakingly plain and unbelievably below average.
An unfortunate and expensive mistake that I do not recommend…. Unless apathetic teenagers, cardboard food, and regret are your thing… then feel free to go.

Was told I needed to go here while I was in town and I’m glad I did. I ordered a cheesewheel, which you should order the double or supreme cheesewheel! It’s amazing and a medium order of fries will more then fill you up. Most of the employees are high school kids looking to make money over the summer and I thought they did a great job while I was there.
Probably will stop in one more time before I leave town.

My son goes here often and said we needed to try the cheesewheel. We went there today 7/6/25. There were three pictures that were hand drawn as the only meals for 4th of july weekend. Each meal had a cheesewheel, hamburger or corndogs with fries and a drink for 12.99. When the food came out I asked the kids working there where are drinks were and they said they were not included. The regular soft drinks came to over four dollars a piece. That’s over seventeen dollars for the meal and if the cheesewheel is 3.49 seperately the fries that came with it were over eight dollars. I will eat anything and not complain but this meal made me want to throw up! I will never try this place again.
