This is one of the newer Mexican Food places here in Idaho Falls. Pretty freaking good food if you ask me. This place is VERY generous with their meat. I think everyone can appreciate that.
The first time I went I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito & 2 Tacos Al Trompo (which are just al pastor tacos). I enjoyed both of those items. But this last time went I got the Carne Asada Fries and that thing was MASSIVE. As a person who can EAT like myself, let me tell you, the plate comes with is A LOT of food. This is easily 2 meals for many or can be shared between two people.
As far as their salsas go because I think every good Mexican food place must have great salsa to accompany their food. I would recommend their habanero salsa. For having habanero in it, it’s not so spicy (at least for me) and has a really good flavor. Don’t slack on that salsa, get it if you go!

So good! These guys know what they are doing! They are super nice and my tacos were some of the best in town. They came out pretty fast and I ordered 4 different types of tacos, so I was impressed. I went one day and decided to go back that same week and sadly they had left the spot. I hope they find a new one soon because I will become a regular for sure!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I don’t what happened here! I found this truck when it was on Anderson. I drove all they way across town several times because it was great! They’re tacos were fat! Packed full of meat and no fat at all! They moved to Woodruff and they completely lost it! They raised the prices and they’re quality went out the window. I stopped in on Friday, and ordered 4 tacos. Nobody was there but me, it took over 20 minutes to get my order. As I got my order, I asked for salsas, he told me, “Yeah, I put salsas in the bag”….. When I opened my bad there was only one tiny cup half way full of salsa for 4 tacos?!?! Though the price went up, the tacos were significantly smaller. Half the meat as before, and half of THAT was nothing but fat! I could barely eat mine. My wife’s tacos made her sick for the rest of the day. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Tacos El Rojo is a must-try for burritos lovers. The flavors are bold and authentic, and the portions are generous enough to satisfy any appetite. Tacos El Rojo is my favorite place to get a street taco in all of Idaho Falls. To you that is a lexical distinction but I really really love tacos. What Tacos El Rojo lacks in atmosphere, they more than make up for with ‘dem street tacos! If you hadn’t already figured it out, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
