I went to Tony Roma’s for dinner. I haven’t been there for a long time so I was excited about this dinner. There was no wait as I got there right when they opened. The server brought my drinks and food quickly. The food was delicious and oh so much! The price seemed reasonable considering I got wine, appetizer, and full rack of ribs for $50 before tip. I recommend making this a stop for dinner if ribs are your thing!

Less than 1 star!! Slow service despite empty restaurant. Waited too long to be seated, again NO ONE around. This is our 2nd visit to this location, and our 1st was about 1 yr ago when they first opened. We LOVED Tony Roma’s while living in Miami, really loved it, best ribs ever!!! So naturally we were excited to see Tony Roma’s here in Denver where we now live. Well our first visit was not memorable and a bit disappointing. We chalked it up to new, just opened. Well after almost a year, it’s no better and possibly worse. The ribs SUCK, just awful! Driest, dried up meat ever. Sauce was mostly ketchup, not much other flavor. My full rack of ribs with fries $23, was less than room temperature. St Louis Ribs they were not, more like DRY baby back ribs. Overcooked too! Not sure why I didn’t send it back, just too hungry to wait again. Food service was very slow on a slow night. My husband’s beef medallions were way overpriced. 3 tiny pieces of beef with a small portion of mashed potatoes for $25??? What a joke. The bison meatballs appetizer was OK…but again NOTHING to make us ever go back to this place!! We spent $75 including tip, and truly robbed. I want my money back!! It’s truly disappointing to pay so much for such horrible quality and quantity!! Definitely NOT going back there!! Way better steaks/ribs at other local restaurants for way less!! SHAME ON YOU Tony Roma’s!! THIS was definitely NOT the Tony Roma’s in MIAMI where we dined frequently!!!!!!!!

I used to bus at Tony Toma’s in Omaha, NE. Coming back after 20 years, the restaurant brought back fond memories and was nostalgic.

The food has changed, but their Ribs haven’t. I very much enjoyed the food and was very happy with the service. Excellent atmosphere also.

Definitely recommend.

The only good thing about this place is the Onion appetizer!!! We had the full rack St. Louis style ribs… very dry and the Baby back ribs with Shrimp was terrible… shrimp was way over cooked and the breading was burned. The ribs were full of gristle and broken bones.
The bar area was so packed and loud we could not hear each other! Only 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant! They hustled and were polite. I would not waste my money here again!!!

We arrived at 5:30 and were “greeted” by a disheveled employee who walked up to our table and barked “what do you want to drink?” He literally looked like the only thing he was interested in was leaving as quickly as possible. I would soon understand that exact same feeling.

We ordered a couple Happy Hour Classic Romaritas (margaritas @ $5 – normally $10) which were served in a pointless shaker without any salt on the glasses. We should have stopped right there as this was the highlight of our meal. The margarita had the taste of alcohol without seeming to actually have any of the intoxicating effect. These would be $2-3 anywhere else.

Since it was Happy Hour we ordered some Crispy Cajun Onion Rings ($5). What arrived at our table ten minutes later was the worst onion rings I’ve ever tasted. I ate one while my wife was on her phone, and immediately spat it right back out. I waited to see my wife’s reaction and her face told me everything I need to know. Imagine if raw onions were tossed in plain flour and then fried. Beyond being flavorless (CAJUN?!?) the texture was dry, brittle, and I spent another ten minutes picking the residue out of my teeth. I asked to have them taken off the bill.

We had ordered a full rack of their “World-Famous Baby Back Ribs” ($21) and a full rack of their Beef Ribs ($25). These are both served with french fries and coleslaw.

At 6:00pm our disheveled server suddenly showed up at our table in his street clothes, proclaimed “I’m leaving – someone else will be taking care of you” and promptly left the restaurant. Didn’t introduce us to another server, and it was obvious the only employees in the entire restaurant was a bartender and what I am assuming was the “manager”, who initially sat us at our booth. OK

So around 6:10pm, roughly half an hour after we ordered in this almost empty restaurant, our two plates arrived. The “World Famous” baby back ribs were in fact a full rack, but it was evident that they were not very fresh. The “full rack” of beef ribs – literally the priciest thing on their entire menu – was FIVE RIBS? That’s right – a FULL RACK is FIVE RIBS. I understand they are bigger ribs, but it’s a travesty to call what was put in front of me a “full rack” of ribs. Also, what constitutes a half rack? Is that two ribs or three?

Where to even start with these entrees. The Baby Back Ribs are pork ribs, and they were definitely the better of the two – but that’s not saying much. How do you manage to both under cook your ribs, and yet also over cook them in the finishing steps? Also they did not pull the membrane off the inside of the ribs, so there was tough sinew to deal with in every bite. Half of them were passable as food, the second half was like rib jerky.

My $25 beef ribs ($5 a rib!) were an atrocity. Each rib had approximately 1 ounces of meat on them, and that meat was stuck tight to those ribs because they were not fully cooked. I almost knocked my front teeth out desperately trying to pull any edible portion off the bones. Every single rib was drenched in sauce, and then scorched on the grill. Once again they had the magical combination of being under cooked AND dry and burned at the same time.

The french fries on both plates were cold, tasteless, and soggy. The coleslaw was bland and lukewarm. We left both on the plate.

Our ticket total for this nightmare? $65 for a meal so bad I have added Tony Roma’s to the short list of restaurants we will NEVER visit again. Not at this location, not at another Denver location, not at any location on Earth. You have lost a customer for life – it is now my job to make sure that as many people as possible are aware of just how terrible the food at this restaurant truly is.

in a time where some restaurants have thrown accountability for maintaining good customer service
That’s not the case here. Upon arrival I was greeted and treated well by Stockton and the crew enjoyed a fabulous day on the patio and the lock-in shrimp is Fa sure one of my favorites and to top it off I had been traveling for the past few days so it felt really good to set down and get treated with great service everyone deserves to be treated that way some forget others don’t Stockton is on his A-Game

The food here was great. It was really dead in the place when i ate and it was a Friday night. Im not sure they get a lot of customers but the food was great. The customer serivce was really good. Its a big location and its nicely decorated. Its located right off the freeway so very easy to get to from anywhere. I will revisit the location.

All the food was really good, service was fine. One thing I was kinda bummed about was the portion size of the macaroni. It was $4 and there was maybe a single layer of noodles in the dish. Cheese sauce was great though!

Ordered the Kicking shrimp starter and it was great. Had a steak, baked potato and asparagus for my entree. The steak had zero flavor. None! It was cooked to perfection, just no flavor. Probably wouldn’t eat here again. Service was great tho with the few waitresses they had.

The chicken appetizer was amazing. In addition, we had a pork strami ribs but it was not the best ribs. And finally a red velvet cheesecake. This match up is not meant to be. And special the roasted top.
