Went on a Saturday afternoon and they were packed. It was my first time there. Was a little confused about the line and where it was. Ordered a root beer chocolate float and was confused whether to wait inside or outside. After 10 minutes I got my float and it was excellent. Group of teenagers were running the place. Avery was very friendly. If I go again I’ll know where to get in line and where to get what I ordered.

We always love Flying Dolly’s when we’re in town. They have the best Snoballs – and not only on the Northshore. Their ice cream is phenomenal too.
But I have to say that they need to do a better job updating Google Maps with their working hours. We went at 8:35 tonight after dinner because Google Maps showed them open till 9:00. Unfortunately, they are open until 8:30 Monday through Thursday. I’ve updated Maps, so hopefully that doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Sno-balls and ice cream fun on a busy Saturday evening. Staff were friendly, attentive, and prompt. Patio area was clean. Black Cherry snowball yummy.

It’s a pretty good Snowball spot. It might be one of the few places I’ve been to that is staffed with young high schoolers,but actually give good service. I don’t know if the self ordering screen was working or if we did something wrong,but placing the order went smoothly. It was after school so it was a mad house in there,but the staff handled the rush fine.
It was a pretty good snowball and the fact that they had condensed milk was awesome. Even some places in the city don’t have condensed milk so this was the only snoball addition I needed. Also Im not a fan of ice cream sandwiches,but whatever they’re doing over here works.
Id make a stop here again if Im in the area. Parking is kinda crazy when they’re packed so be prepared to be flexible

Very popular place. We go here almost every time we are in the area. The place is not very large but moves a lot of good cold dessert quickly. There is plenty of parking area nearby. The staff is pleasant, courteous and efficent. Although it appeared busy we has out deserts in less than 10 minutes for 6 of us. There is an large variety of flavors and combinations. Portions are generous. You’ll be back for more. Remember this: “brain freeze is real!”

This will forever be one our favorite sweet stops! We drive all the way from Ponchatoula once a month just to have ice cream or a snowball from Just Chillin. The staff is always so friendly and fast and the seating area is kept very clean. My favorite ice cream flavor is the cookie butter! It’s a vanilla flavored ice cream with biscoff cookie chunks that melt in your mouth! If you’re hesitant on a flavor you can always ask for a sample flavor. They also sell the ice cream in pints to go! Whatever you decide on— you’re sure to love it.

Just chilling now at ‘Flying Dolly’s’ (same owner). The service staff were pleasant. They serve ice cream as well as ‘sugar-free’ snowballs or snoballs. It’s at a business red light intersection in front of Cane’s, and parking is tight. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. I ordered the sugar-free cherry snoball with condensed milk, then manually churned it with a spoon for an ice cream-style texture. The ice is not shaved finely, but it works. Given the options locally on this side of the highway running through Mandeville, I would recommend it. $$ Fair Pricing . #localguideicecreamchallenge2024

It’s such a basic choice, yet so good! I’ve tried other flavors for both the snowball and ice cream, and they were also good but that one is still my favorite there. It’s nice that they offer a “flat top” option, so it’s easier to eat without the mess.
The only problem is, I wish their ice was more soft instead of crunchy with thin ice, not fully grinded.
