We’ve been ordering from Sal’s since we moved here 2 years ago. Pizza was always delicious. Last two times we ordered were very unsatisfactory. First the pizza was barely cooked ..we always order it well done and crispy. This next time we checked the pizza when it was delivered and same thing. They took it back and obviously just rebaked it. Brought it back and it looked better but pizza was dried out. Sorry to say thats it for us with Sals. Tossing a $20. pizza in the trash twice is it for me. I will add the delivery girl was very professional and apologetic.

I love sals! Every time I call they are very very nice. A huge plus is they deliver to Felton (sandtown) whereas no other pizza places do. Food is always hot when it arrives. We’ve ordered everything from burgers to pizza to fries to garlic knots and everything has always been exceptional (except the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, I would not order that again). My son LOVES their wings (boneless or bone in are great but he prefers the boneless).

This place has been around for years. I used to live in Camden, and this spot has been a few different businesses growing up. The fam and I were hungry, so I stopped in, grabbed a menu and began to checkout what they had to offer. Ended up getting a large pizza and cheese steak combo with mozz fries. The cheese steak is a nice size and they do put plenty of meat in it, I also like that the fixins’ are under the meat so I get a bit of everything when I take a bite. I tried a slice and the sauce is the boss. Oh it was so good, even the crust was nice and soft, not chewy kablooey. Now the mozz fries was not the best I’ve had and the fam agreed. Out of 5 stars, the mozz fries was maybe a 2 “got some work to do”, the cheese steak would be a 4 “gimme some more”, and that pizza would be a 5″ let me drive!”. Since then I’ve been back more times than I’d like to admit.

Pizza was very good!! I ordered an XL with extra cheese, well-done & brown on the top. Well that’s exactly how I got it! Really pleasantly surprised! It wasn’t greasy (meaning we didn’t have to mop it up with paper towels), no grease dripping off it. Also ordered an antipasto, which also was great! Ham, salami, gabagool, & pepperoni, lots of veggies which were fresh—crisp lettuce, carrots, red onions, grape tomatoes, croutons, Kalamata olives. We had it delivered because I got home late from work & changed into jammies, & therefore was not going anywhere! It was delivered quickly & still hot! I have to admit that I’m impressed & will be ordering again.

Ordered $12 crabcake platter. Was fake crabmeat that I could not eat came w/1spoon of coleslaw. Called to return it. Owner says what did I expect? A real crabcake for $12. That’s how they run their business! Then don’t want to replace or refund! For complete untouched so Called platter. Overpriced on menu for quality of food

Usually stop here every time we’re in the area. Tonight got our usual large chicken cheese steak. The roll was chewey and the steak meat was dry, hard, and some burnt pieces and very peppery taste. I didn’t ask for pepper only a plain large chicken cheese steak. $11.95 Also it seems to have less meat. We will not be stopping by here anymore. Will have to look for a new place for our chicken cheese steak. VERY SAD. WE USED TO ENJOY OUR FOOD HERE.

Decent pizza and cheesy garlic bread. They have a good variety on the menu and their specials are pretty well priced. Not much in the way of seating if you plan to dine it. Definitely more of a to-go atmosphere.

This is a nice quick pick up food to go kinda place The family and staff are always friendly, the food is good. Pizza is like that sweeter sauce type. We’ve tried the chicken parm’s and wings also. No issues.
